Quick Patch Update:
fixed increasing severity of cattle conditioning, only to decrease it whenever it's being limited, which may disable work types for the brief moment

for relevant stats to handmilk people, the pawn only needs to not have caring disabled. unlike animals, humans would be more cooperative and there will be no waste from the milkers mishandling the milked lactators, as opposed to how i personally imagine botched attempts at milking animals by poor animal handlers

Does this mean there is no way for a pawn to become "better" at milking and that as long as a pawn can milk it doesn't matter who does it?

Bug: Feeding the baby does not increase its nutrition levels.

i cant repeoduce this, nor does my code touch vanilla breastfeeding. most likely caused by another mod

I really like this mod, thank you.

However, I noticed that even a fully cow-transformed pawn still gets -12 mood after eating feed.

That seems a bit strange?

The drug don't work at baby or child, that's why?

The drug of Equal Milking and Lactation Expansion work right on baby or child. But the drugs in this mod do not function properly, even when loaded after Lactation Expansion and running alongside it (with some compatibility issues). In the same game session, the drugs from Lactation Expansion work as intended on children.

yes. the drugs in this mod do not work on babies and children, unlike in Equal Milking and Lactation Expansion

Milk goes from 0 to 9 in 2 seconds—is this a bug or am I just missing a setting?

0 to 9 what exactly? can you be more specific? the milk should always go from 0% to 100% fullness in one day

FYI I'm still trying to troubleshoot, but I came to the conclusion that this new update breaks...something. My games freezes after a few seconds. I even tried a new game and I had enough time to walk 5 tiles before it froze. Uninstalling the mod and running without it causes RimWorld to freak out and uninstall all my other mods saying something about incompatibility...this is the only mod that it freaks out about. It was running fine yesterday, but I have not updated any mods since Jan 27th, so I decided to update today and doing so has started the freezing. I only updated this mod + Onahole + any Steam workshop mods.

Running just Harmony and Human Cattle is fine. Running Harmony, Human Cattle, RJW, and Onahole also works fine.

I have 163 mods total, and I am not experienced in troubleshooting RimWorld, so it's going to take me awhile to find the incompatibility. I just wanted to let you know something doesn't like the new update.

took me a whole day to find the problem. It was RJW-Additions which was outdated on my end. After updating that mod, all is good...for now.

there is 2 questions here...

1. Is "has both human cattle specialist role and Cattle blessing" a bug or design?
0.1*0.1=0.01 ?

2. I can had more than 1 human cattle specialist in same time(2 pawn have it). was this right?

tks for ur amazing mod,

it let the gene game play more fun btw

its normal as long as you can have more than one of other ideo specialists, i guess. i dont remember if you can in plain vanilla, but i did try to add more than one human cattle specialist role and it did work, but i did have a ton of mods. maybe some of them enabled multiple specialist role. i dont remember

Hello! The breastfeeding need for adults triggers at 85%, which is quite unfriendly for large colonies—especially for pawns who work outside—and frequently interrupts their work. Is it possible to lower this threshold or make it configurable? Also, my colonists often seek out animals to breastfeed from. Is this behavior normal? Could animal breastfeeding be made configurable or incorporated into cultural precepts?

Posted

it takes a day for the breastfeeding need to go from 100% to 85% and the mood debuff from being unweaned starts to show when the need is at 85%, and the mood bonus for breastfeeding lasts for a day on top of that. the numbers are optimized to make them breastfeed once a day. im honestly not sure how to implement a less annoying breastfeeding need because they will have to breastfeed at some point and its very likely to interrupt people's work when they decide to do it, and if i make them only go to breastfeed at certain conditions (only on recreation schedule or if the lactator is near, for example) then i worry that the condition wont be fulfilled consistently enough

also, yeah. breastfeeding from animal is expected behavior. i'll make a precept to prevent people from breastfeeding from animal next update if that annoys you, because i think it also makes sense. the precept wont affect unweaned pawns from breastfeeding from animals though. i think they should be desperate to suckle, especially when their mood debuff hit much earlier
