Option for SFW Advertisements on LoversLab?

Soo, I admit that I like reading through these forums while I'm at work. No pictures of course, just text.

Problem with that is, the ads are really explicit, so I've been using ad blockers while at work.

But I feel bad because I want to support this site and community. So could we get an option for SFW advertisements?

Or is that a bad idea since those pay less and too many people would switch over lol.

"SFW" ad publishers don't allow sites that have the type of content loverslab caters to.

It is very much the opposite of what you suggest, adult ads pay like dirt, non-adult ads pay much better, but they are strict with the type of site content they allow their ads to be seen with.

I've tried in the past to sneak in under the radar to switch over to SFW ads by banning nudity in avatars, signatures, and thumbnails; long time loverslab users will know what exciting drama that resulted in! Everything seemed to be going smoothly a month into it and the site absolutely looked "safe for work" at a glance, but it wasn't good enough, I was abruptly banned from the ad publisher for hosting adult content.

The reality is just any reputable ad publisher that pays out any decent sustainable amount just want touch sites with content like LoversLab. Likewise the publishers who will, nsfw adult ad publishers pay very little as they know you likely don't have much choice but to use them, which circles back to having to include more ads to try and make up the difference.

TL;DR: No, SFW ads on the site will never be a viable option.

It's understandable that there will be no SFW ads, given the content of this site. But then some SFW ads are really shitty, like the ones hawking 2000-era malware mouse pointers or IM smileys.

LL ads as NSFW as they are don't annoy me as much as those intrusive mini games or that skype sound shit often spawning on the nexus.

I actually never thought about that, but it makes sense now that I do think about it. Sigh :|
