The mobile games aren't really a great indicator on whether these comic characters would ever appear in a flagship Sonic game. It's a gamble, really.

Being on a fully-fledged commercialised PC/console game is a big hurdle to climb over and the fact they've made it is a big deal and a pleasant surprise.

So about Whisper's colors they're actually kind of, weird based on the only reference I can think of for it. She's got two tones but based on the small bit we see of her back it's not  super clear how the colors shift. Obviously it's WAY too early to bother with but might as well bring it up now.

 

Couldn't just give her a two piece to make this any easier......

Not sure if it helps or not, but Whisper was apparently based on the Sonic Forces wolf avatar, so maybe this can give a good idea on her fur and skin. Maybe dark brown at the mouth, arms, and outer torso, with the legs and inner torso being light brown.

It's never too early to research the actual fur colour and patterns of these characters to achieve the most accurate nude models!

 

And I do mean accurate, like look at those bare legs. Look at how her thighs are the same width as the rest of her legs. I know I'm rambling about this again, but I bet you that if it wasn't up to me, no one would ever care to produce on-model nude mods like that, they'll thicken those legs and hips, and enlarge the chest for sure.

Not saying there's anything wrong for anyone to prefer that, but I appreciate these ladies' bodies just the way they are.

 

Anyway, Whisper's fur pattern is interesting albeit unconventional.

Her dark fur covers her mouth and goes over her upper torso and arms, while her yellow fur covers her head and the bottom half of her body. It's going to be tricky to figure out how these two fur colours intertwine, especially with that pattern on her back, unless we ever get to officially see her bare her midriff or in a bikini.

By the way, Summer Tangle's model in Sonic Speed Simulator doesn't even show her bare back despite being based on her beach outfit from the comics.

 

Meanwhile, Tangle has her darker fur colour going from her face to her neck and shoulders with stripes going over the top of her upper arms.

The rest of her body may be fully white, but it may be possible her belly under her fluffy chest might have the typical dark countershading.

With a bodysuit like that, it's pretty easy to outline the shape of her body.

Heck, I probably only needed to change the material and texture of her bodysuit to make her look naked.

(With some slight adjustments to the topology so it'd look less like a painted-over bodysuit, of course.)

 

Too bad we have to wait three months before we can play around with them. But in the meantime, I got some unfinished business with Wave and Rouge.

That is why he was asking me to take it down. These assets are originally from Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix. Using assets from another game doesn't make it yours. You don't own rights to the character. You don't own the model. These assets are not yours. The only thing he did modify was Miku's face. Change her brows and eyeliner. Okay cool. Taking something that is not yours and modifying it does not mean it is originally your work. That dude should mind his own business.

God, I need Surge and Jewel...though knowing my realistic expectations, Jewel ain't gonna receive shit because she's the least popular of the four, despite her being Tangle's childhood friend who was always saving her ass back then.

I guess I could've just edited over the official model sheet. It takes a while to edit though, unlike that silly draft I drew.

Note that there's no full back view of her body without the coat on the reference sheet so I had to duplicate the front with edits.

Whisper's fur pattern is literally what I wish Rouge's fur pattern was. Good thing I prefer Whisper over Rouge lol.

She's a wolf, so her navel/crotch area would have to be more barren of fur no?

Well, yeah, she's basically third in line on the top priority list of IDW characters, behind Tangle and Whisper of course.

 

Only she and them have popped up in the mobile spinoffs, though she's yet to appear in Speed Simulator.

 

Jewel is far less popular than them. Hell, I won't be surprised if Lanolin has higher priority than her.

Would be revised later because I don't think it would be a straight diagonal line, it's mostly likely going to be curved from this angle, but this is just a rough idea.

It's most likely fur, or it might really be skin. It's hard to tell with these designs, especially with Rouge.

I think yes officially but its kinda dumb imo. Even on Sonic the tan parts should just be fur but its considered skin for some reason.

This is mostly sfw and can be asked on GB probably, but gonna ask here for some of the extra details. Can someone do Pearl and Marina skins for them? This is an official sketch done by Evan Stanley iirc.Now on-model is fine, but a few spicy alts could would be cool too.

Bustier/generally thicker Whisper (with jiggle of course),  both unzipped showing their chests or i guess partially nude Tangle showing pretty much showing off her body but with pants and jacket still on just unzipped.

She should have more of her bluish grey  pattern on her  torso seeing as she does have some on her neck and arms so it should be safe to assume it applies to the rest of her body too. Also think you can get away with giving her slightly wider hips and bigger butt, since crossworlds has nerfed proportions for Rouge and Whisper,so you'd just be restoring what they're actually supposed to look like.
