Any mod development posts of the upcoming Sage mod in the past few pages have been removed just because her body proportions have been made slimmer.

Honestly, I don't think it's fair that it should even warrant a removal. That kind of body physique wasn't even particularly childlike (especially when you compare it to the on-model mod that I know for certain now I can't share here), it's an hourglass figure with boobs and even Sage's head appears to be modified that arguably makes her look older.

 

I felt that way with the Maria mod for Shadow Generations too actually, that body leaned closer to an adult than a child, but apparently that warranted a huge fucking nuke for the entire thread so we lost access to the good ones like the Nude Rouge mod...

I understand there's very few modders here who could actually do something but that's the problem, there's very few of us here and hardly anyone else is willing to learn.

 

This thread had a good run at the start but now it's practically nearly useless for anyone actually searching for news on upcoming mods.

(And of course, the one time someone actually shared their work recently, it got removed!)

This thread is so bloated now that it has reached over 100 pages that we have to use the Downloads section since any mods shared here will be overlooked in about a week. Heck, whenever this thread reaches the next page, nobody seems to read the last page anymore because this thread is so damn overwhelmingly big and cluttered.

I won't mind a fresh restart in a new thread if it means it'd be more focused on sharing mods and development progress than people just dumping porn in it again.

I think its just more of a cautionary thing, since people are quick to pull the trigger the moment anything like that shows up. I do agree that its a tad silly to delete, but I also can understand why.

As someone who's slowly trying to learn blender and make my own stuff, I'd feel a bit eh sharing it here due to all the porn dumps and requests. Especially with how thick people even the want characters. Anything I make wouldn't really align with what a lot of people here request. But that's just me.

 

I do agree, as much as it would suck to lose this thread. 120 pages and not much of it is actual mod discussions and showing off WIPs. Just requests, porn dumps, and drama.

tbh no mods are crossing any line since none of these characters exist but yeah i guess maria is too human for the delusional people that cant differentiate between fiction and reality

I mean, I've made the attempt myself but the problem (in my personal experience) is the time and mindset. Especially with work, my schedule ends up as:
Wake up like 7 am, got to work and enter at 8 for 9 hrs, get back in 30 min to an hour which makes it 5:30 at best, 6 pm at worst, have only about 4-5 hours to do anything you enjoy, realize the things you enjoy take about 45min-1hr per session, contemplate what would be more effecient/fun, realise you've already wasted 1 hr just trying to figure out what to do while having dinner, give up and play something more casual or collapse onto youtube essays OR if a game I are really into at the time is taking your attention, I just don't do anything else but play that game.
Then there is the weekend where the last thing I want is to do something that feels like work (which shouldn't feel that way when its related to something I enjoy) and am so damn tired of trying to balance this routine and getting the most out of my favorite hobby. Essentially, I feel pressured to do something when there is none at all leading to my attempts at getting any kind of new skill set to be a useless attempt.

I completely agree, if it doesn't involve REAL people, it should be allowed. Sage is an ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, not a little girl. If you treat these characters as actual humans, then logically all depictions of violence and killing NPC's has to be treated as murder of real people.

yeah its completely fine if it doesnt involve real people in any way, but anyway i think it would be a good idea to post these risky mods on allthefallenmoe, they have a sonic crossworlds modding thread like here and the only rule is if its fiction its okay

All these "it's a fictional character" argument falls apart by Loverslab's basic guideline, "The fiction or back story given to a character does not matter in this case." is what solidifies this in my eyes. Aging them up is allowed though, so if ones were to post a nude Maria mod or something here they'd need to get rid of their babyface look or else it wouldn't "stand a chance".

"I cannot make it but I can give them ideas" mentality unfortunately does not go a long way, I suppose people do this since it is not easy? I've toyed around Blender for a while and still haven't learned to sculpt a missing pelvis part from swimsuit models yet. Painting weight for new clothes/part of the body is another issue given it's allegedly the most time consuming task when I looked up how to model in Project Diva. Everyone talks big until they actually work at it. It still does not help when other half of "giving them ideas" post is "I second this".

 

I was in this thread because I saw Catnatic moved into here and I'm not taking a good impression of how many "someone make this" comments there are that I've pointed out 3 months ago...

That's what I thought too but we've had links to Sage mods here for months now and nothing's happened yet so it's all just confusingly uncertain.

idk this site's policy about aging characters up, but I think it's because the Maria in Shadow Gens was Maria as a child, and the mod itself said nothing about aging her up, even if visually she might've looked like an "adult".

 

Just spitballing here. The worst part about this whole thing is that no explanation is given for this type of stuff, so now we're in the dark about the policy about these things.

I completely agree. While nobody has control over off-site drama dragging itself in here from people outside of this thread, we should do our best to keep things organized and civil which means two things:

 

1. No more pointless rageposting about this or that drama. There are DM's, there are Discord servers. If you want to band people together for something, not here please.
We need to move on from this stuff, I know I certainly have, and dwelling on it is unhealthy.

 

2. No more pointless porn-posting and idea-throwing just for everyone to ignore your request and leave your post as a splotch of titties clogging up the scroll bar while everyone else tries to read actual content. These types of posts are like fangame "idea guys" who spout out cool ideas but do absolutely nothing to make these ideas into reality, I know that because I was one of those people, until I actually tried doing something and it ended up crashing and burning.

If you want something, work towards it and make it yourself. There are tutorials all over for you to learn how to do pretty much anything and especially for Unreal Engine.
And if that's not to your liking, commission someone! I'm sure a good few modders would be happy to get paid for rigging some furry titties into this game, so do that instead of begging for someone else to do it for you here.

This is, like you said, what download pages are for.

This thread is overwhelming and I think it's completely reasonable for people to be oblivious to things that happened even a couple of pages ago because the sheer number of pages is so daunting.

 

Like I urged people before, PUT YOUR MODS IN THE DOWNLOADS SECTION! seriously...

THIS is exactly what it's for, and there's still a wealth of mods mentioned in the first post that haven't been given a proper download page. This is limiting visibility and you are only hurting your mods' performance by not doing this. We were given an entire section of the site for ourselves by the mods, why not use it?

 

Honestly I'm most surprised by you @Catnatic since you take this so seriously and yet you haven't put most of your mods in the downloads section. I don't think you have anything to fear (to an extent) since Sage has been allowed on there with a very borderline body model for half a month. Your Blaze, Amy, Wave and even Cream and Tails would fit right in imo.

Looks amazing! But I have to ask, would it possible to make her head size a little bigger? Either way looks good as is

The plan is to preferably update those mods first before I publish them on the Downloads section.

This includes touching up on the models' topology, reimplementing stamps to display in high quality, and make the AI Rival version of the characters naked.

At the moment, my hands are tied with finishing the nude mod for Wave and working on other NSFW mods for other games depending on my mood.

yea, had shrunk it down for facial stuff at first, but then realized she had no face bones. I also I hate working with this model right now its weight paints are horrid for this lmao

Kinda figured that’s why the head is small lol. Also by the weighted paints wdym? Like the models textures?

Only just got first hand experience with this, but its a surface area sectored off to tell the model what parts of the mesh (skin basically) to move when it needs to and if even a pixel is out of place, it will not move and cause a spaghetti monster at worse or a sever annoyance and best (you have to go in and find the blind spot and fill it in.

The sections are also very specific depending on the model and use case (eyelids, upper leg, pupil, hair bangs, index finger 1-3 to indicate each segment of the finger so as not to have a noodle finger or pencil pointers on your hands, etc)

Oh yeah now I can see how that can be very annoying to deal with. But thanks for the explanation

Its what binds and determine how much strength bones have over parts of the mesh.

Still a WIP. He sent me 2 screenshots. 

He is doing other colors.

She looks so cool.

Both versions will be released soon. One that goes over Miku and one that goes over NiGHTs, but it will use Miku animations.
