That's a tough one, I've seen plenty of media showing both that look great. Mound is for sure more on model

Then you create the "LogicMods" folder and place the contents of the Photo Mode mod (.pak, .ucas, .utoc, .ini) inside it.

And move that folder to the game's "paks" folder. Same place where you place your "~mods" folder in.

Odd. I followed these instructions down to the wire but it's still not working.

For SFW, I like mound. But recalling a much earlier conversation here, I also think it would be cool if the fake chest fluff attached to her tube top was also her natural chest fluff for these nude mods. So my vote is for a secret third option: Chest fluff. Which you may not want to do since you want to release soon. But if you did, her NSFW version could also have a shrunken down chest fluff that sits above her chest, to allow for some (or a lot of) peeking.

Thinking about it for a bit, I have a question. This doesn't just pertain to this game's NSFW modding scene, by the way, but the modding scene as a whole.

 

Is there anything stopping modders from using something similar to the Magic Exoskeleton by SSBUCARLOS used in Smash Ultimate modding?

 

Basically, from my very small (and probably inaccurate) understanding of it, is that you can't alter the animations of characters because they change hitboxes and desync the game. What the Magic Exoskeleton does is keep the original skeleton of the character without assigning the actual model to it--therefore keeping the original hitboxes intact--and then having a second skeleton overlaid and assigning the model to that, that can inherit custom animations with no gameplay-altering effects whatsoever.

 

I am probably just missing something simple, though.

I mean, there's the Neptunia over Creeper mod, which model swapped Creeper with Miku's animations. I believe someone had advised there were still quite a few restrictions, but I'm not sure.

From what I can tell, hitboxes are a non issue. When you pull a model and its skeleton, an animation blueprint that can be altered comes out with them

Either way, my Nude Wave mod is overdue for a release so I'll try to allocate time to finally finish it this month, both SFW and NSFW versions.

 

I'll consider penis variations including circumcision. I'm planning to give Jet a humanoid penis, genital slit, and cloaca for his mod.

Do you know what type of file you’d need? I saw one on sketchfab that has GLTF, USDZ and GLB files but I wouldn’t know if that one works or not

you can also find a file on smutbase but idk if their blender files are useful or not i get some models from their

FBX would be nice, but anything portable to blender I can figure out

Welp, I didn't realise all this time that Unreal models' normal mapping is more complicated than I thought.

If a character's normal texture map is blank, you would expect that it would actually be blank but apparently this is what Wave's model looks like with a blank normal mapping:

And this is how Unreal shows the model in-engine while the normal mapping texture is blank:

I don't know exactly what's causing these seams or other form of mapping that affects the normalmapping even if the texture is blank but it's mucking up the look of my model where the shading of Wave's body looks inconsistent where some parts are brighter or darker than the rest of the body (even with a blank MRO texture map).

Moving the UV mapping doesn't do anything to fix it. Rotating or unwrapping the existing UV map into a different one helps, but the model will lose its original UV layout that way. I prefer not having to unwrap the UV map into my own along with making a custom texture just to get around this issue.

I just want to only edit whatever that type of mapping is (Tangent Spacing?) that's affecting the normalmapping, but my research tells me there isn't really an easy way.

 

This is precisely what I was afraid of when returning to finishing my nude Wave mod, it's this kind of bullshit that's causing seams and unnatural shading.

I don't want to release my mod like this, this is not up to my standards.

I might still release the mod though so other people can have an on-model nude Wave to enjoy at least, but I don't like how it currently looks and people deserve better.

 

If you ever wondered why on a close glance of my nude mods, there's a bit of a visible seam across the character's hip or whatever, I think this might be the culprit.

With Blaze as an example, you could see there's a line slightly visible around her waist:

that would be great as both a really cute mod and sexy one if you can see her ass, versions without the eye convering stuff and with the removed skirt version would be awesome , maybe even a big boobs version

Not sure if this could work very well, but I was wondering if maybe someone could mod this model of Shiver from Splatoon over Miku (preferably nude if you can only do 1 version, but it'd be nice if all of the outifts could be modded in) 😋. If there's complications with the model not fitting the animation skeleton then I understand, but it would be very nice to see this 😳 I'll send the link to the model if anyone thinks they can do this
