Ah. that means it's missing a texture, or I have the incorrect one in the folder.

I'll figure that out and update the file download.

EDIT: found the problem. was missing a couple textures. the download has been updated. SHOULD work properly. if not, let me know.
I am currently working on the dialogue. it's...a process. about 2/3 done at present.

Forgot the face textures.

I've added them to the updated download. I'll have to be more thorough in my pre-upload checks from now on. Sorry about that.

let me know if it works this time, or if I missed anything else.

One more mod from me, bunnygirl outfits (from Kai no Kiseki) because why not.  Thank you to the legendary @lakovic for the bodies that I used to fit the costume on, which he so graciously gave me to use.  Disclaimer: Obviously I do not own and do not claim ownership of any of the assets used in the making of this mod.

Instructions:

 

I have not found a way to actually make DLC that can be unlocked.  Instead, all the costumes can be purchased from the following shops:

  • Rolent: Rinon's General Goods
  • Bose: Paul Elk
  • Ruan: O'Neil Duty-Free Shop
  • Zeiss: Bell Station
  • Grancel: Dept. Store - Accessory Shop

 

NOTE: Starting with Daybreak, Falcom no longer has a modular DLC system, so without making your own custom tables, you can only use one mod with custom tables at a time!  Please see here how to combine the tables of 2 or more DLCs using the .kurodlc.json file included in this mod.  It is an intimidating process at first, but will become very easy once you do it once or twice.

hi guys i made a black version of the estelle skinBlack bunny Estelle Texture.7z also im not sure if i was supposed to edit the mask files or whatever but idk what that really is so i didnt mess with it.

 

also i tried to make a version without the leggings, but the model doesn't use the full estelle body so her legs aren't there? so im not really sure what to do. if anyone got tips on how i could go about this (i just started modding yesterday) it would be appreciatedd, thanks

"Easiest" way is probably to change the stocking textures to bare leg textures. I don't remember if any of the original Kai bunny suits have that though, but you probably need those if they do.

Hi guys, yesterday I installed the bunny girls, DOA 1 2 and 3 mods, and worked (managed to buy them from store and see them in the equip costume). Now today, the game is not even starting. Does it normally happen with mods? (still new to pc games and mods, as I come from PS5 gaming).

That’s not common… even if you installed them incorrectly or delete random files, the worst that happens is that the costumes are invisible. Even if you delete all the mod files, the costumes jist disappear from your inventory (the costume slots will be locked until you reinstall the mods though).

 

I would start from scratch. Use “Verify integrity of game files” and then repeat.

 

oh, and if you are attempting to use the mod loader, don’t. It’s no longer compatible with the latest updates, to my knowledge. Use the method posted on the first page.

I've been working on the script and dialogue changes for my earlier Anelace replaces Joshua mod.
It's not 100% complete yet, but I'll post the beta version I'm working on.

- It changes every instance of Joshua being mentioned to Anelace (In my game, I have also swapped Joshua for Anelace, so the script reflects that)
- English only, as that is the only language I have proficiency in. I don't really want to use AI or other machine translators.
- Appropriate terminology has also changed (he to she, him to her, brother to sister, Etc)
- Spirit of the original dialogue was retained as much as possible, but there were some small scenes where minor changes were made to better fit Anelace. Still trying to work out the maid scenes, among others.
- As a fallible human made this, it's possible something was missed, so if anyone happens to find errors, feel free to point them out.

I've included the .dat files of the original script, just in case.

The display name in dialogue boxes and the camp menu still says Joshua. I am in the process of figuring out how to change that. This whole thing is a bit new to me, but I'm learning.

I did the verify integrity, it just tries to launch the game, and nothing remains black screen. Some times it loads and most of the times nothing. By mod loader you mean xinput.dll (or something like that)? I have it in the installation folder (should I delete it?) Also, I did everything manually as stated in the first page (using the kuro make tables etc...) suppsoedly. Sorry I'm totally new to this.

Yeah I read somewhere in this thread that xinput1_4.dll isn't compatible anymore and crashes the game.  Use this method instead.

Deleted the x1input_4.dll, did the file verification tried the method you mentioned (specifically the 2nd part) and also  https://www.loverslab.com/topic/255475-trails-in-the-sky-1st-chapter/page/44/#findComment-7162707. Totally nothing black screen. When i uninstalled the game, and installed again without mods, it worked. Applying to the mods sometimes works, and most of the time nothing blank black screen when launching it from Steam.

Could it be that after creating the tables with multiple json files, I'm copying all 5 tables to t_eng instead of just the 4 from the method you suggested?

I don't understand why you are doing anything on any post other than the one I linked in the first place. EDIT: Sorry this came off as rude, not my intention.

Cause it still caused the same issue, and tried the one i told you about (which is quite similar to be honest). The only different thing i will try is remove the mod loader (which you told me doesn't work) and copy the 4 tables instead of all 5 you moved in the mod folder when running the kuro mod ( which creates the tables to move).

Anyone having crashing after the 1.06.1 update? I was trying to remove mods and found that when they are not present, the game crashes on file load. It works fine on 1.06, but the new patch breaks it completely.

 

I have even tried loading the old version, saving with all mods removed (thanks to the DLC validation script), made sure nothing modded was loaded, saved.

 

No matter what I crash now. My main issue is, I primarily use Linux, so using the dlc validation script for cheat engine is not an option, but if I try to load the file even after saving without modded content on 1.06, it always plays the Invalid Add-on content error

 

EDIT: Or alternatively, if there is a way I can disable a single mod - in this case, the modified bath towels from the Sexy and Nude mod pack, that would be better. I have some paranoia that it actually overwrote the bath towels default outfit and I ideally would like to NOT have that just in case I am sharing gameplay with friends and a towel scene does come up

 

FINAL EDIT: Disregard all of this - I found out how to remove the singular mod (Found the file of the costume and the backup of the original from when the mod ran, and replaced it successfully

Thank you for your effort; I imagine it was considerable work. Out of personal interest, can you describe how to edit the English script, if it's not too time consuming? I do get the .dat files by unpacking the .pac files, but they contain only data junk and no human-readable text. I'm sorry if this is a stupid or annoying question.

I dunno, sorry. I know the game still works for me with the latest version.

 

I would make sure you can load the game with files unpacked with no mods installed (vanilla game but pac files removed) first. You can try @Vanguard84‘s instructions here.

Not an annoying question at all. I was struggling with this until recently as well.

It can take a bit of searching to find what you are looking for. It seems the way the game handles text is by putting all lines of dialogue within a given game area in one file (all lines in outdoor Rolent are in one file, Bose is another. sub areas such as dungeons have their own file.)
This means the files are not necessarily in chronological order. I use the find function to find the lines of text to edit.

EDIT: you have to re-compile them with the same tool back into .dat files afterword for them to be usable.
