I do not know. It works for the GungHo version, so perhaps this is a bug with the CLE version?

I am using the CLE version. The JSON file comes from here, but it doesn't work.

You need to select the quantity when purchasing, with the default being 1. You can choose up to the stack_size amount. However, once the purchase is completed and the item turns gray, it cannot be bought again. Nevertheless, you can make it purchasable again by changing the item ID.

soga. 一次性购买8个后确实可以,猫耳朵那些可以一个一个购买,买8个后才会变灰。有办法可以改成商店猫耳朵那样的吗?改item ID很麻烦。

I see. After purchasing all 8 at once, it does work. Items like the cat ears can be bought individually, and only become grayed out after buying all 8. Is there a way to make it like the cat ears in the shop? Modifying the item IDs is quite troublesome.

Thank you @丶Agoni, this was a very important clue!  "unk_txt": "2" must be changed to "unk_txt": "1" for accessories, then you can buy them more than once up to the stack size.

does anyone know how to swap hair models?

I really like how Estelle's buns look on her diner outfit and would like to have them on her other outfits too!

I guess to clarify I would want to use the hair model that is used in her "DLC Mascot" costume since it has the same metal hair pieces as her standard hair, I am a total novice when it comes to modding models but would this be difficult to do if say I just wanted to do it for one or two of her outfits?

So, the game (on steam) updated to 1.06 yesterday...

And since then none of the mods I installed seem to work anymore. :x

(amorrow's awesome DOA + innocence mods... congratulations and thank you by the way)

I tried to clear save data since I had put maybe 1hr in it, reinstall the game and the mods, yet nothing seems to do the trick.
Has anybody experienced the same issue or am I the only one ? Any idea what might cause this issue ?

I encountered the same problem, on 3 occasions, when I went from the demo to the full version, then when they upgraded from 1.04 to 1.05 and now again after latest upgrade. basically had to do everything from scratch. from unpacking the 3 files, then reinstalling all the mods I had, after which everything worked again.

yeah at this point I have a backup folder that I just copy over to install all my mods at once with each update…

I haven't been having this issue after I switched to fully using the batch installer and loose file mods. I'm wondering if some people are using the older xinput1_4 dll and that's causing the issue? I'm running the Gungho too so I don't think that's part of the issue.

Edit: actually I just realized that despite it saying it was updating and having 1.05 before, it still says 1.05 after the update for me. I think it's because whenever I actually launch the game its while I'm offline.

I've edited the Dorothy mod to add a bit more meat on her bones. I also edited the model info to use the same breast physics as the one in the improved bunny girl mod. If I get permission (I think this was originally @lakovic's... forgive me if I'm wrong I should really keep better track of who made which mod) I'll share the files for this mod. Keep in mind the mod isn't the best since I'm not that good at sculpting. I did at least avoid clipping though from what I can tell. I forgot to take screenshots for most of the time she was onscreen so you'll have to make do with the screenshot I did manage to take and some comparison renders in Blender.

I also edited Scherazard to have her jewelry when nude since I didn't see a mod that did that (unless I missed it). Again, I'll wait and see if lakovic is okay with me sharing the files. but here's a screenshot. I had to make her neck a bit thinner to avoid it clipping with her choker but it wasn't by much.

Both of these mods are cel-shaded since I prefer more consistent art styles but if you know how and have the reference for the more realistic shaders it shouldn't be too hard to change.

Thank you all. Your answers perfectly solved my problem.

I hope players who purchase mods from the shops and encounter the same issue can see these answers.

i don't think you just added a bit more meat. Her ass looks like 10 times bigger lol or maybe 4 times, and her stomach is the same. Nice though! Just thought it was funny you worded it like that. I hope that didn't come off as hating, I think it's great you are modding. Also I agree with the cel shading, I think it looks good for Trails' art style, more anime like.

If you have no experience on editing Trails models, it will take some time to learn.

First, check out Transferring-a-costume-from-one-character-to-another by @amorrow28 to learn how to swap hair.

If the hair between two models uses different bones, you'll need to study Transferring-a-costume-with-new-physics-bones-and-adapted-animations to get the hair physics working properly. It explains how to transfer bones and edit the .mi files.

I too have thought of doing this, seeing I have acquired alot of great looking mods, from the creators here. I have since created my own assets folder that combines all the required files from the different mods I use, and am trying the xinput.dll method as well.

Thanks. The topology isn't the best but I think I can improve from here.

Here are the files everyone. Note that I didn't include the textures but they're all textures that are in the batch mod installer that was posted earlier containing lakovic's mods.

So, the original "kloe skirt+no udw" mod - the no panties version - was really weird. It's like the vagina was on top of the panties that were not actually removed.

I pretty much redid this from scratch. Used the hands, neck and lower half of the nude mod, replacing the existing body/skin mesh. The important part here was to edit material_info,json to use the same textures as in the nude mod. Also to include those textures in image_list.json.

Then I cut the socks. And finally took like an hour the fix the butt clipping through the skirt (that was annoying). While I was at it, I also made a second version where the skirt is even a bit shorter because honestly I'm not sure how you even see she has no panties, maybe I don't know how to use the camera properly.

kloe_nopanties_shortskirt_shortsocks.zip 17.99 MB · 395 downloads

Could you please just shorten  the skirt?   I prefer the original socks and panties haha.

Actually, the script only performs simple copy-and-paste operations, so there’s no need to create a separate version just for Linux.
You can install everything manually — it’s very straightforward.

There are two installation methods:

Method 1: Using xinput1_4.dll

This DLL allows the game to directly read .pac files without having to extract their contents.

  Reveal hidden contents
  1. Back up the file steam_api64.dll in your game’s root folder.

  2. Open the mod folder, and copy everything inside the mods folder to your game root directory.

  3. Go to the steam_settings folder inside your game root, then depending on your version:

    • If you’re using the Gungho version, rename: steam_settings/configs.app_en.ini → configs.app.ini

    • If you’re using the CLE version, rename: steam_settings/configs.app_cn.ini → configs.app.ini

Method 2: Extracting .pac files with a Python script

  Reveal hidden contents

This method requires Python 3.10 or higher.
Higher versions usually work, but I once encountered an error on one PC, so I personally use Python 3.10.

Steps:

  1. After installing Python, download the extract_pac.py

  2. Place the .py script inside your game’s pac\steam folder.

  3. Drag the following .pac files onto the Python script :

    pac\steam\asset_common_model.pac
    pac\steam\asset_common_model_info.pac
    pac\steam\image.pac
pac\steam\table_xx.pac  (xx = your language, e.g, sc, en, cn,If you’re using the Japanese version, then the file is simply table.pac (not table_jp.pac).)

  4. The extraction will start automatically — don’t close the window.
When it finishes, the window will close by itself.

After extraction, you should see two new folders:

  • asset

  • table_xx (or just table if you’re using Japanese)

  1. Rename the original .pac files (add .bak to the end for backup).

  2. Move the newly extracted folders (asset, table_xx or table) to your game root directory.

  3. Go to the my mod folder:

    • Open the table folder for your language — you’ll find 6 .tbl files.

    • Copy all 6 .tbl files to your game’s corresponding table_xx (or table) folder.

Example: if you play the Japanese version, copy from mods\table_jpgame_root\table.

  4. Finally, from the mods folder, copy these three folders/files into your game root:

    • asset

    • steam_settings

    • steam_api64.dll

(Make sure you backed up the original steam_api64.dll first.)

If you don’t want DLC-style outfits and prefer to buy them in shops instead, you can skip copying steam_api64.dll.

  5. Again, depending on your game version:

    • Gungho → rename steam_settings/configs.app_en.iniconfigs.app.ini

    • CLE → rename steam_settings/configs.app_cn.iniconfigs.app.ini

Now launch the game — the mod should work perfectly.

I've tried method 1 on the Steam Deck and as the mod works, my controls get extremely messed up (left and right on the analogue stick is down and up, the camera becomes pretty much uncontrollable, etc...). I've troubleshooted and came to the conclusion that the steam_api64.dll included with your mod (the free one) is the culprit. Without it though, the mods don't work (of course). Is there a way to fix it? Alternatively, is there a way to replace default outfits with selective models from your mod pack?

Also, I'm curious how future proof the mod is. Like, if they release a patch, will I be unable to load my file because of a possible DLC table change? If so, is there a method to get around it that does not involve the cheat engine table? I'd hate to not be able to load my file because of an official patch.

This is my final response to this type of comment.

  • Regarding the confusion between tools and assets

No mod can exist without both assets and tools. You mentioned that I reuse official assets — I do not deny this. The characters, faces, eyes, hair, and other elements provided by the official game are indeed unavoidable foundational parts.

I am not confusing the concepts of "tools" and "assets"; I simply want to emphasize that no creation is entirely independent. Whether it’s game assets, software, or creative ideas, they all belong to the shared cultural achievements of humanity.

By the logic you presented, if I released a paid mod created entirely from scratch, just because it depends on the game engine to run, it could also be said that I “used official resources.” Does that mean I must make my own game entirely from scratch? Following this logic further, would I also need to make my own graphics card, my own operating system? This reasoning is clearly absurd.

Mods are, by nature, derivative creations based on the original work.

All creators build upon the shoulders of those who came before. Excessively strict interpretations of copyright not only hinder creation but also stifle innovation.

  • Regarding charging and donations

I understand that many in the community value the spirit of free content, which is worthy of respect. But at the same time, creation is labor, and labor deserves fair support.

Do not overestimate the nobility of human nature, nor underestimate human greed. If you truly believe in the donation model, ask yourself first: have you ever proactively contacted authors who release works for free and supported them financially? If not, on what basis can you demand others to give away months of labor for free?

In fact, after releasing the Trails mods, my family was hospitalized due to illness for half a year, and I resigned from my job as a result. I never intend to use this to garner sympathy; I simply hope you can understand that creators also have to live.

I have never forced anyone to purchase anything; I only offer those willing to support the work a choice. If you do not agree with paid content, simply ignore it — I respect everyone’s stance. I only hope that the labor of creators can be understood and respected.

This is all I have to say.

Please use Method 2 — this method does not require xinput1_4.dll, it still supports DLC, and it’s also compatible with any future game updates.

Thank you. Method 2 works without the DLC modification. However it seems like the NPCs don't change as according to the mod. Just the additional outfits that the mod provides per playable character.
