Is this a bad idea

Okay i play on xbox x and am going to buy the game sometime soon when I can scramble together the money and have never played the game nor have I realy watched anything on the game besides the death road challenge doug Doug did and am thinking of playing blind on the hardest difficulty is this a horrible idea?
