Just going to send a sign of life Actually working on the last quest for the Old Neighborhood Update (and it will still take a bit, no ETA). As I mentioned earlier, I had neglected this part of the mod because it was originally intended to be just a little Easter egg. But some time ago I’ve finally started a serious FO4 playthrough where the “Old Neighborhood" is the second job of my character. It worked pretty okay for me, but I also discovered a few annoying things, such as the frequency of pole-dancing requests. So one of the first changes I made was to adjust the probability of these requests, and I added a separate setting in the MCM for the duration of AAF anims specifically for pole dances. I also changed the part about serving food and drinks: Instead of just getting them from Douglas, you have to either grab a bottle from the fridge or cook the steak yourself (using my custom stove). Reveal hidden contents I also improved the "Day Off" mechanic. In the current release, you can't just leave the club, It will pull you back and you need to ask Santiago for permission. He would grant that and while you are outside enjoying your Day Off forever you would generate Debt which will only be apllied if you ever come back on your own. This is now changed. Your Days Off are now limited (the amount of days can be set in the MCM). When the time runs out 2 Triggermen will approach you wherever you are and remind you of your duty and the money you missed to earn for them. If you can pay the debt, you can just pay them and they will leave you alone (and restart the timer). If you cant pay, they will drag you back to the club. However if you are in the middle of something (like conquering the castle) you can ask them to let you finish it. The MCM has a grace time. In this period the triggermen will follow (and guard) you, until either the grace time runs out or if you finish your stuff earlier, you can ask them to bring you to the club right away. Reveal hidden contents On return to the club your debt becomes real and you have to work it off before Santiago will let you out again. I think this a working way to enforce the "Membership" as a prostitute without locking you from the game. Reveal hidden contents There are 3 new marked Quests. Two of them are special guests, which can randomly start. Whenever a client leaves the automatic spawn may choose one of these special guests instead of a regular client. They are tied to your progress of the game. If they are killed or away, they will never start. Other Guests will only appear if you made specific progress. Right now there are only two of those and I might expand on that. Reveal hidden contents The third quest will be outside the Club. I dont like to create spoilers for my stuff, so no further infos for these quests. Admittedly, I only played through the Old Neighborhood route a couple of times, as I really love the Patrons route for this mod but this sounds like a good reason to give it another playthrough when this update comes out!! I played the Old Neighborhood route the first time I played this mod, and I remember liking it (even if initially I accidentally bugged out Piper by forgetting to disable a mod that effected her dialogue and therefore she did not want to speak once we got there XD I tried again without it and she was fine though lol) but I think some new quests and a new mechanic for going out into the world will spice it up a little and keep it from feeling repetitive. Is this being updated alongside the Patrons route, or separately? I also assume that this update will happen after the one to LP based on something you said recently on there, so I figure it's a good while off but I for one appreciate getting to see the little updates as you work on them 🥰 the updates build the hype 🖤 1

The question i have though is If i have already started a playthrough and gone in with the fenway crew can i jump over to the others? will i need to make a new save? Both routes are mutually exclusive, so you need a new save or at least one before you helped Jefferson and joined the Patrons. The reason is that I’m no longer convinced by some parts of the planned plot. As for the part I’ve already done, however, I’m satisfied. I just need to pick up where I left off and figure out how to proceed in a new way at some point. So the coming update will only contain Old Neighborhood stuff and will be ready before LP. Little Pawn 3.0 takes a bit more time 🙂 2

I did try a save with the old version and it seems more 'put together' if you will. And funny enough it is right next to the El-mudo store from the Cowboy repeater mod which was quite handy. Meanwhile the redux variant if going by way of the Fenway feels more tame, I will give the old club a testrun once i got time on my hands again. Edited April 14 by Zavek

The main difference between the old mod and the reborn version is how they were made. The old mod was done a few months after I loaded the CK for the first time and had no clue what I was doing. The new mod has more functionality, more options, while the old one was pretty messy if you looked inside. Storywise the old version was also not very consistent and especially shelton (the boss) was a lot more friendly towards the player 😁 2
redreno Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hi, i'm intrigued with the mod but, my question is i start the quest bait on the line then after jefferson kill the two trigger man, the quest mark wants me to talk to jefferson but nothing happen, no dialogue no response and nothing, he just stand there, is there any fix for this?

Hello! Try to save and load. He should normally just walk to the player and then talk by himself. I made also a failsafe, so the player can talk to him if the scene failed. Otherwise load an earlier save. You can also check the current stage with SQV TRW_MQ01_Intro (it should show "current stage" 290, thats the condition for Jefferson to talk).

Now I'm wondering how that can be a softie when there are 2 branches to NR. I'm currently going through NR now as "Norita", Nora will be another time. How exactly do these interact?

It is just about the player characters name. At the beginning of my mod someone will ask you who you are. The player has some choices then. If Nuka Ride is installed and the player got a new name (like Starlight for example) the player will be called by that name in my mod too. 1

It might not take too long, but I'm a little tired from working on it, and I've had a few setbacks with CK lately, which hasn't exactly helped I've also taken the first steps toward creating Shroud's new superhero colleague in “Little Pawn”. But this will take a bit longer. 2

The game gets stuck I can bring up the console command window and that's all I can do. Can anyone help me with this? TY

TY The quest has no end, taking care of the clients is your characters daily work now But as stated here, i'll add a few special encounters and another quest with the next update. Yes, if you chose the "end mod" option, the mod shuts down. You can only load an earlier save. 1

That is the end of story right now yes? Little pawn: I got a new mail from postman that Shroud want to talk to me in old hospital..! Problem for me is that i have no old hospital on my pitboy map. And i do not remember where he was (blush). Can any please tell the buildings name on map that he is in or directions how i shall go? I went to the two hospitals i thought he was in but they were occupied by enemies.

So please use a new game or an expendable save. Added: 3 new Quests: "General Reputation", "The Good Old Days" and "The Mansion". They start randomly after a Client is served and "Chasing the wrong Story" is completed. The first two will only start if the requirements are met (potential spoiler): Spoiler General Reputation: Player must be General of the Minutemen The Good Old Days: Only starts if "Unlikely Valentine" is not started or completed Spoiler for the "The Mansion" quest: Spoiler This Quest might be difficult. However if you find yourself in a frustrating, stressful or uncomfortable situation and are about to ragequit, the TRW_Manager Holotape (which can be added via the MCM) will have an option to skip to the end. Added: If the player takes a day off (you need to ask santiago first), a timer will be set. Each day you are outside generates debt (can be set in the MCM). After the timer runs out, some Old Neighborhood Triggermen will look for you and ask you to return. If you can pay the debt, you can stay outside and the timer resets. If you cannot pay, you are forced to return. However it might cause issues to just move the player back, so there is a grace period (default 24 hours), so you can finish what you currently doing, and the triggermen will even guard you. Added: a separate timer (MCM) for flagpole dances Changed: If a client asks for a drink or a steak, you cannot simply get it from douglas anymore. You need to grab the drink from the refrigerator or cook the meals on my custom stove Changed: Converted some Messageboxes into simple notifications. Changed: Reduced the propability for dance requests. And probably some more stuff, unfortunally I forgot to keep my changelog after a computer upgrade 🫠 The old neighborhood is in the archway southeast of the cabot house. You can only work for the old neighborhood, if your not part of the fenway patrons. V 1.11 Voice Files The new content is unvoiced for now. However, there is still a huge improvement for the previoues released content. These wonderful Voicefiles were provided by JB for the player and KinataHoru for the NPCs. Error09072001 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) i just tried to do the mansion quest and it seems i can't continue it , when it tells me to go to santiago , it just gives me the normal options , like to ask for days of and stuff but nothing about the quest edit , i made it work ,aparently you need to visit trudys diner before the quest , otherwise it bugs out , but now i'm stuck at the last part of quest when you go back to Santiago , nvm , i just restarted the game and reloaded the save and it works , weird though Conclusion i just finished the quests , amazing work , really cool , i really enjoyed the General Reputation , the humiliation and stuff , would have been cool if there was an option to like deny it a little bit , out of embarrassment , instead of just having 2 options that are still , well i am a whore now , like , deny it and slowly beeing forced into taking their money and fucking them , either way , great mod , great update 10/10 WE WANT MORREEE Please ! quick idea for future , would be hot to have a quest where Nate "your husband" comes looking for you after he survived being shot ,and he finds you while being fucked buy a group of people , and he joins afterwards him telling you he is disgusted with what you became and leaves forever (i'm a bit fucked up in the brain , but it would be hot ngl ) Edited May 18 by Error09072001 1
