which folder do i use to load the model into asset studio? since i'm using jp dmm version

now EN asset is encrypted just like JP
if anyone can figure load asset without need encrypt asset

let me know

Moding for this game is Ruined lol

Hope a fix is found soon as there are some moders that focus on this game and it would be a shame for them to lose their supporters from it..

this seems to be a really big UI/Translation project for the JP version? so not sure its used for model repairs.
So unless you know how to install the JP version or have a JP version/account then this is useless in away, could try it on the global one to see if the UI changes but it might not work.

The other version (the older one) was already shared on the steam forums of Umamusume anyway so, thanks to whoever that was, the cat is already out of the bag. Although it has "mods" in the name I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to do differently... anyone have an idea?

Every time you post a link, the credibility of the linked source increases, which raises its detection rate.
This means updates are known faster, making it easier for countermeasures to be implemented. 
And this is his own version.It was precisely because it was distinct from the original that its secrecy was maintained.

I tried this when I ran into problems with the Japanese version, and it's a modloader.
You need to prepare properly made mods yourself.
As a fan of his, I want to respect the confidentiality of his work...

UmaViewer got update EN support

but not UmaDecryptor

No, this is not a repair tool. It has been modified on the hachimi translation plugin project to enable external loading of mods. (Nevertheless, it cannot externally load individual texture files and physically modified mods.) On a certain AssetStudio.GUI in git, you can re-encrypt and decrypt the files of the Japanese server to replace the loading of textures and physical mods. However, the meta of the international server should not be usable because the keys are probably different.

Perhaps you can try to decrypt the meta file of the EN version. You can refer to it

This version of the GUI enables you to load mods by decrypting META files, then re-encrypting and decrypting the JP version of the files, and replacing the files as before.

 

Anyway, this is just a possible solution. At least this process was successful in the JP version. In the EN version, the success probability of this process will also be higher.

 

The possibility of cygames' encryption was the reason why we only discussed mods privately before, and now this situation has occurred. We can only hope that it won't get worse in the future. After all, this is a game they can update, Just like the damn Capcom...

This is the situation.  All of this is because cygames really does update encryption, so it needs to be kept keep secret...

It's a pity that you can only decrypt the EN version of the meta by yourself.  I don't have much understanding of this.  Since the viewer supports decrypting the EN version of the meta, maybe you be able to obtain the EN version of the KEY through the viewer?
