Bof's Babes n Bimbos - Bimbos of Skyrim NPC Replacer

Hi bof,

Sorry to bother you—I know you're busy working on mods right now, but I have some suggestions for this BoS replacer mod that might be helpful.

Your presets are fantastic and fit perfectly with the original mod. But perhaps you could add more replacers and make some adjustments? Lyvvi and Vallie are simply perfect, and turning Roni into a dark elf as a homewrecker is lore-friendly than I could imagine. But I think there's still have something could be improved:

- tarria has pink hair in the original mod.

- morella has gray hair—maybe you could discuss with jib about creating two variants for her: bimbo and normal .so that you can replace her like Lyvvi and Vaje.

- buttsult still doesn’t have a replacer. Pity

Good point, that totally slipped my mind I'll look into adjusting it in the next update.

Morella's grey hair is actually just an armor/clothing item she's equipped with called "Morella's Real Hair" or something like that. When you reach the point in her quest that Lyli dyes it to blonde that item is removed to reveal her actual hair color (on a technical level not lore-wise) which is the blonde color and style that I have the preset set to or the blonde color/style it normally is without my mod. As for a new NPC for her bimbo version I can certainly ask, but I imagine it might be more trouble that it seems since she is also tied to her own fairly lengthy quest as well as all of her custom dialogue and a new NPC might cause issues for those. That or the new NPC would just be made as a dummy NPC and have no real connection to either of them.

She's one of the characters that I plan to swap, but the planned preset was giving me some issues and I just wanted to get the mod out. I plan to use the Iona preset for her, I'm just trying to decide if I want to keep it as a faux half-orc look, or if I want to make just a standard Nord/other human race version of the Iona preset for her.

Perhaps creating a hair replace this ''Morella's Real Hair'' to maintain consistency would be better?

I love the idea of adding more races to the mod, though unfortunately Buttslut’s name and behavior don’t quite fit a typical Orc. , But who says Orcs can’t learn magic? Perhaps her name might need a tweak? I feel Allesandra would suit an Orc better—especially since she’s brainwashed and given a new name. As for Lumiette and Belle, neither has a suitable replacer yet, but I think Krista could work well as an Imperial with Caera

For now I think I'll leave the grey hair as-is because it gets removed fairly quickly anyways during her quest to show the hair I set it as underneath. The preset was basically made as Morella after completing her quest, so she now has blonde hair. I also would have to learn how to make and replace that custom armor item/wig she uses for her "real" grey hair, which as of right now I don't have the slightest clue how to do lol.

My thoughts exactly as to why I'm considering making a more human looking version of the preset to use for her. I don't think I'll do the name tweak because she will still be referred to as her original name from BoS in all text, quests, and dialogue so that might just end up being too confusing.

I also might just do the human Iona preset for Buttslut and the original half-orc one for Allesandra much like how I double dipped with the Narelae presets for Jill and Cindil. I think they'll look distinct enough that it won't be noticeable unless you're really trying to see that they're the same.

I was planning on using Krista or Allesandra for Caera, but then admittedly my own biases kicked in. Caera is my favorite preset from BBnB (closely followed by Emerane or Eciphe, especially Eciphe's bimbo version, they swap favorability with me fairly often) so I wanted her preset to have a more prominent NPC assigned to it than a random tavern or hold bimbo NPC you might only talk to a handful of times. The current plan is to hold onto Caera to use that preset for the new noblewoman that will be introduced in BoS' 1.9 or 1.9.1 update for a little more lengthy quest where you will interact with her a bit more.

As for Lumiette and Belle getting unique presets, they'll just have to wait until I make some more for BBnB, as I just simply don't have enough to go around right now :( Lumiette will probably be last since you have to go through quite a few more hoops to even encounter her at all. The only exception would be if I just get a whim to make a more gothic-looking character before making one for Jill, then I'll probably give it to Lumiette. Which is also quite possible, since I am fairly alternative myself and like the alternative/goth aesthetic a lot.

Actually, there’s no need to worry at all. I’m referring to the name ''Ciliad Cellano'' mentioned in her diary—it only appears once, so changing it to an Orcish name would be simple. "Buttslut" is just a nickname anyway.  But I think human version would be OK.
As for the rest, I completely agree with your points. I’m really looking forward to your upgrade!

FOMOD? So we can select which NPCs we want and which we don't.

I mean they are fine but some better than others.

Unfortunately not, I barely even figured out how to make this an esp much less how to code a FOMOD (if you even code them, I have no idea). If I could I would, I also would include the option to use the bimbo versions of some npcs as well so you could swap them out, unfortunately it's just not in my wheelhouse. Is there anything you'd like to see in the presets that I could adjust if you're not liking something? I can't guarantee any changes but I'm always happy to hear feedback!

Hi! Tried this mod out but I'm getting the default face bug on those affected. I have a few leads I can follow but wanted to ask about them first.

1. Should this load after the SE & Botox Patches for BOS?

2. It's possible I installed Goam's incorrectly (chose the wrong skin type options.) Any chance that could be the cause? I really only checked Morella and Lyli and I assume they dont use the mod.

3. Not sure if this is relevant, but I tried loading the mod up in EasyNPC, and was met with "Invalid References".

I have all requirements and checked to see if anything was touching the esp in SSEEdit but nothing is. Any ideas?

It should be loaded after, though I did do all my testing with the botox patch disabled. Either way if it loads after there shouldn't be any issues there.

That could be very possible, though I think that would mostly just change how they look texture-wise, I imagine the IDs are the same. It should be the Fair Skin version. All presets do in fact use Goam ears as well. Goam Ears has an "ear" that is just invisible (no elf ear) for humans. So if Goam is the problem for the others, it's the problem for Morella and Lyli too.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with EasyNPC :( but my guess is that the invalid reference(s) are missing faceparts such as Goam Ears, eyes, hair style, etc.

Could you go back into xEdit and check the section I've highlighted in the spoiler? This specific screenshot is for Lyli, but my guess is it will be the case for all of them whatever the problem is. If something is missing its reference check this post from the last page on this thread for an idea of what could be the missing mod(s).

A selection in what way? Putting the presets on other characters?

Ah! Thank you! In Lyli's case I was using version 1.9F of KS Hair and not the current 1.10 (Which might be worth mentioning in the requirements since its a recent update!). I'm also using an alternative AI upscale of Eyes of Beauty so I was actually missing that requirement.

Great, thank you for letting me know! I really need to cut down on some of these requirements lol.

KS Hair - Use v1.9 of KS Hair. The newest update 1.10 will cause the presets to fail to load.

Just as a heads up to prevent more headaches, I meant that updating from 1.9 to 1.10 was what fixed Lyli for me. Though, I think I was mistaken on 1.10 being the fix because *I thought* I saw the Ella hair listed in the 1.10 update but now notice it's in the 1.8.

So to reiterate, 1.10 *does not* cause the preset to fail to load. I thought I was missing a hair from 1.10, but it must have been something else wrong with my install.

With the 1.9.0 update, Jib added a new NPC "Lexanne Capulet", If you make a replacer for her as well, I am definitely looking forward to the beauty you'll cook up. All the other NPCs you gave us so far are absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you! I plan to use the Caera preset for her! Though I have been a little burnt out on Skyrim so I've been taking a little break from it. I plan to come back around when BoS gets its 1.9.1 update and the quest is complete so you can expect to see it around then.

I cannot for the life of me get this to work. I've got the ears and hair working correctly, but the faces for all of them look vanilla. I've checked requirements and started a new game and I should be good. Is there a recommended load order? I'm using the voice add ons and DBVO if that means anything.

For a load order it shouldn't matter as long as this mod loads after BoS and all of the requirements. You can also try loading this mod at the very bottom of your load order to see if any other mods might be conflicting that I'm unaware of too.

I'm not sure if it could be the voice addons, I never used or tested with them. Try disabling them to see if that could be the conflict. Otherwise what it sounds like is an issue with one of the requirements even if you have them all installed. I'll be the first to admit the way the mod is set up is sub optimal compared to other replacers, so if any of the requirements are getting overwritten by something else it can lead to the presets failing to load.

This will be easiest to see if you're on MO2, but check all of the requirements in your load order to see if they are being overwritten by anything. Even things as minor as eye texture upgrade mods can cause the entire mod to fail. If you do find anything overwriting the requirements, try disabling it/them and see if that resolves it.

If none of the above works open the mod in xEdit and take/post a screenshot of any one of the NPC's head parts section in it. Example screenshot in the spoiler:

I use OBody so i cant really use the bimbo body.
Any idea how to fix it?

Did you happen to install the pack mid playthrough? The only time I ran into neck gaps was because of that. The main reason is because the replacer changes all of the NPCs' weights to 0 and changing that mid game will cause the gap to show. Starting a new game with the replacer installed should fix it and I don't think my bimbo body should be required at all. That's just my preferred "bimbo shape" for lack of a better term lol. I just had to change the weights to 0 because that's what the presets the replacer was made with have and it causes a permanent neck gap if those weights don't match, not just one if you install it mid game.

I don't use OBody so I didn't test with that either, but I don't think that should cause any issues since I didn't touch the NPCs' bodies with the replacer just their faceparts and weight.
