That is straight up some terrible logic. The artist of the game didn't make them nude, someone else did. Either pay for it, pirate it, or forget it. However, it's so asinine to see how many people bitch about someone who actually used some of their own knowledge and time (something you could do yourself if you weren't lazy and expecting handouts) to make a mod and they decided they want to make some money off of it. 

 

Also, hilarious someone bringing up legality of paid mods when people wanted to get the actual game for free too. Absolute hypocrites.

I also share a discovery I made, when you finish the game they change the start background to Eve with the fusion suit, to put your custom background back just go to "movies", clone your mod file and then just replace the name of your mod background with the name title_fusion, I hope I explained it well, any questions you can ask me here or in the inbox

No one doubts that there's a nude mod of Lily, what we're complaining about is the nonsense of mod websites that sometimes consider minors to be characters who are clearly adults but small in stature.

 

And I personally have a personal complaint against anyone who makes their mod available for payment, because they are committing a crime, since they are working on a base that doesn't belong to them, in this case it belongs to Shift Up, and if you work based on a character to make a mod, charging for it is illegal. If you're going to do it, you have to do it for free for the love of art, like when I fansubbed anime for free, as they've always said "From Fans to Fans."

that wasnt why it was removed, it was removed because people are doing horse armor dlc with mods and loverslab is protecting them

I tried looking around, but I haven't seen much personally. Also, I'm not looking for full nude mods. I personally am a little tired of full nude mods...

Ya know... every time there's a big AAA game release with some tassssssty modding capabilities, this drama pops up every time.

 

Modders who want to be paid

vs

People who don't want to pay

 

I'm not here to join it because to me, it's a legal and moral grey zone entirely. No one will really "win" here. In the end, both sides will be bitter.

 

Thing is, there is a perspecctive that shuts down the argument: We're on LL.

LL has its own rules. We gotta follow those rules. Soooooo don't publicly post this stuff.

If you don't want to follow those rules, that is your choice but it also means that you cannot remain on LL. Consider making your own website? I'm not being sarcastic or anything. Built it and they will come.

 

Contrary to what others say, I don't think LL isn't trying to get on a moral high ground of any sort. Publicly posting paid-for mods can be seen as a form of theft; and LL is just trying to avoid any possible legal trouble that could come after them. Sure, some paid-for mods might slip by and no one will notice; fun fact: there is at least one in this very topic. lol

 

If not today, then maybe a month, year or even longer from now -> LL can eventually become a host of enough-paid-for-mods such that then legal action will come aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand LL doesn't want that to happen.

 

 

To be clear on the Lily mod, it was removed due to the reasons I just said: it's a paid mod.

It was not removed because Lily looks young.

 

 

With all that said, there seems to be a loophole of "private DMs are fine" apparently...? Tons of people asking for mods to get DM'd to them and I've never seen any repercussions so...? Maybe? If any mod is reading this, feel free to correct me. I don't want any trouble.

 

If that is correct, then uh... if you really want to share a mod, do so via DMs? Just make a post with some sort of obvious tell; example: make a post saying "hey, did ya'll hear about the paid-for nude Lily mod? *wink*" and brace yourself as a barrage of messages are coming at you.

 

Also, did you know that there are anti-spam measures in place here in LL? If someone made a new account recently, then they cannot initiate DMs freely. So sitting around and hitting us with a "+1" isn't super helpful. DM'ing them to ask is a better use of your time.

 

Also, yes, there is a risk to this - a risk that will exist no matter what - where bad actors will try to give away viruses or something, so use your head.

 

Right now, this topic has derailed and it is really toxic... So, in the end, please, would you all kindly just stop this?

buddy not only is the actual model of the game being used for reference here they are using the built in engine shaders meshes etc to have made the most basic mod imaginable and of course I wont learn how to use blender just to make porn mods and you cant take the moral high ground as you are actually arguing on bloody lovers lab rn and techincally bitching more than I did...you know what the comment above me is right lets just end this topic there will always be people willing to give their life to defend something absolutely insignificant to them

Look up what one of the mods posted about the site. Don't share the paid mods. I don't give a f that yall do I've pirated my share of stuff, I'm not taking some moral highground. What I find laughable is that you people feel that others should do things for you for free. You are the one bitching that they shouldn't be making mods to get money. Yall the ones who always bring up wah wah wah mods not free tell me where to find the mod for free. Look at how much post there are about dm them the paid mod and now some people hating on LL because they don't allow you to post paid mods. That clutters up the thread for no reason. We don't read people's DMs unless called in there on a report, but we also can't have entire theads consist of "DM me if you wanna give or receive this mod that is obviously not ok by LL rules". That can't last. And "+ 1" isn't a post, it's spam.

make and share mods is what this site do, thats the main reason this is here, if thats not allowed because someone decided to pay wall their mod then its going to die as there is alot thats doing that nowadays, no modder owns their mods, any dev cam claim their mods if they really want too but why would they, it will just annoy their own fan base.

I also would like to say. Trying to paywall a mod is losing battle. A mod is a mod, it will get shared. The best option is to offer it up but also post a link to your work for support, and maybe some type of perk like early access or a discord server. Keeping something forbidden in this day and age is just impossible and hurts the website trying to police it. That said, I want to say I really support modders who do their work out of desire for what they enjoy.

Just for the record, regardless of LL's rules, I'm not gonna post paid mods for free. That's always been my way of doing things. The only time I share mod files is if something got taken down and is no longer available by normal means,

There are tons of free mods that are great, but sometimes the only options are paid, and when it comes to cute and youthful-looking characters, that's often the only way they can stay up, since having them behind a paywall makes the wrong people less likely to get involved.

Think about that for a second, and try to appreciate the hard work of the modders who make and share these mods that places like Nexus always have a problem with.

So the only way we can freely post mods of fictional characters is discord. 

I was a staff on the ZZZ mod discord and I think it is time to make another discord so we can archive Stellar Blade mods since the game fucking rules, the mods are currently popping off, and the exact same LL staffer is now here cracking down on the exact same thing again. 

DM me if you are interested in helping me run a server so we can archive mods in peace.

So Synthlight was awesome enough to take a commission to put shield over the Skin Suit. Now, it doesn't matter what outfit modders replace, we never have to play on "hard mode" without shields.

I mean, you gotta be set up in the right version of Unreal Engine, have some idea of what you're doing to package the mod into the 3 files you need to make it work. I'm not ready to get into that at this point.
It's not quite as simple as the RE Engine mod edits I've done, and even those required me to get stuff set up ahead of time and learn some things.

And yeah, the first time I played SB I was in the Skin Suit pretty much the whole time, and now I just wanna chill with a super-beautiful properly barefoot naked Eve and enjoy "normal" difficulty.
