debased Posted May 28, 2025 Posted May 28, 2025 First thing first this has nothing with mods or any thing like that. This is more of a lore thing. During your adventures in Skyrim you can become a vampire( when you die your soul goes to Molag Bal) maybe you like furs so you will become werewolf( when you die your soul goes to Hircine) Join the thieves guild and you will give your soul to Nocturnal, kill Mirak and you will bind your self to Mora. And least but not last you are Dragonborn so Akatosh will be waiting for you. So gets your soul when you die? Is there a lottery? 1
legendarytoyou Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 That's a good question. More than likely I'll default to Akatosh because the Dragon God of Time isn't exactly somebody you want to trifle with, even if you are a daedric prince. He could potentially go back to the very beginning of the creation of Nirn, see to it personal Molag Bal, Hircine, Nocturnal and even Hermeus Mora never existed in the first place. Then again time dynamics being what they are it would potentially be disastrous. Dr. Emmett Brown from the movie series Back to the Future said it himself that changing certain aspects of the past can potentially have world/universe ending results. If anything I think Akatosh would probably try to avoid destabilizing the timeline all together, even if that means relinquishing his ownership of the Dragonborn's soul considering the number of Dragon Breaks has already occurred. Then again he might not even be concerned either way.🤔 1

DocClox Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Well, I can't speak for everyone, but my Dragonborn's plan is to get Molag, Hircine, Nocturnal and the rest arguing over who has the best claim, and then while they're all distracted, he'll sneak out the back door and nip on down to Shor's Hall where he'll spend the rest of Eternity boozing, wenching and brawling. Let them try and get him out of there! 1

FauxFurry Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 No one gets their soul. It is just another of the Dragonborn's many possible betrayals. You can add it to the list. 1
phalancks Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 It's like John Constantine. The Dragonborn isn't allowed to die because untangling it would cause too much of a headache for everyone involved.
