Get a customized, jiggly female player-char with body physics from scratch (cbbe, tbbp, hdt)

First off pretty decent guide, next, once you delete the female_skeleton absolutely no TBBP enabled animations will work, you will get movement but only from HDT PE, not what the animation author intended. I don't care for Dragonfly's animations at all so I would never install them, especially the idle, no offense m8. So now we've determined that only HDT is giving you animated jiggle, so use any animations you like, default work, xp32 pack works, all of them work.

 

One thing you may not have mentioned is that by installing CBBE itself does not get you a TBBP enabled body. That has to be done in bodylside2. pick any of the CBBE TBBP bodies, adjust the shape to your liking, save as a preset then click create bodies. This will create the nude base TBBP body.

 

Now you must convert some armors to your shape, click batch build and only select the armors or packs for armors or clothes you want to adjust, select your preset then build. Done. 

 

Rundown: A working TBBP setup consists of these things

1. TBBP enabled skeleton (XPMS in this case)

2. TBBP enabled body (CBBE TBBP created with bodyslide in this case)

3. TBBP enabled armors (without which you won't see any animations while clothed).

4. Once you have those things you can decide how you want to animator, either through the animation files themselves which have TBBP built in or the HDT Physics Extension. If you choose the animation files you will need to find ones that are TBBP enabled such as Dragonfly's. If you choose HDT you don't need any animations at all, default Skyrim animations will work.

 

About collision: The idle with the boobs and hands requires HDT physics extensions AND the Havok Object. In the beginning people needed to edit the actual meshes but that is no longer required, once equipped the Havok Object will carry the property to any and everything.  There's more too collision than meets the eye, there is also collision between NPCs and PCs. Using the modified Havok Physics and collision files from CLP here: http://hdt.monsto.com/forum/index.php?/files/file/18-clps-hdt-customized-2013-12-07/ along with the original Havok Object will get you some really nice results.

 

Anyway that's most of what I've found out about this shit. It can be daunting in the beginning for sure :)

I really dont know why it isnt working for me I tried so many things :/ And yes I have HDT Havok Object equipped ;)

BTW HDT Havok Object v1.2.7z includes 2 folders, HDT Havok Object v1.2 and backup_[HDT_Physics_Extensions_v9.28] & [hdt.xml_v0.1]. Both of them include the following files: hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll, hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml, hdt.xml and the Havok Object folder includes also hdtm.xml. I just extracted the Data folder of HDT Havok Object v1.2.7z. Is it correct or do I have to extract other files?

seems ok to me your steps - what does your "hdtPhysicsExtensions.log" say in the folder "skyrim/Data/SKSE/Plugins/"? i'm sure you will see some errors there

thanks to point these things out - i didn't knew these details about TBBP - so i guess i have never seen the original TBBP animations either... collision between NPC and PC? sounds very interesting :D

i would say yes, seems good... but that's without hdt physics -> dTd has described that very nice a little bit earlier

I know but i dont wanna mess up that far for a start im a noobie after all but can i add hdt physics after i have done everything in the above sequence?or it will mess up my files?

seems to me like you have problems with the installed skeleton - try to re-install xp32 and overwrite all files again he prompts.. then, delete the log file and restart the game and look inside the log again - still the same errors then?

    the state of the art mod-manager for skyrim - allows to directly download mods with one click from the nexus page and you can savely un-install mods again

 

NMM is a simply tool to install/uninstall simple mods, hardly considered a mod 'manager'. It's Generally unadviced (can see also this) and can't be used to install/manage complex mods and lacks of any function other than blindly install/uninstall non complex mods.

 

The best mod manager tool so far is Mod Organizer, second is Wrye Bash (although since Wrye Bash can be integrated with Mod Organizer to keep using its primary functions, like bashed patchs or check savegame health/syncronization with mods, Mod Organizer is overhaul the best main mod management tool). Also for the lazy people, Mod Organizer also admits direct download from the nexus :P

Great guide ! I ran into a small challenge. I followed the guide and was successful in adding the havoc item but the characters chest either caves in or is rendered invisible. i have uninstalled all the related mods and reinstalled but no change. any idea what i am doing wrong?

Hello.

 

I've been going trough and trying to install this mod two, threes times in a row now and I can't find what's wrong.

 

Issue: When attempting to start a new save or load an old, it loads for a few seconds then I get CTD.

 

 

Could someone be nice and point me in the right direction of where to look? I've read trough all post (in this thred), especially the OP and dTd's post.

 

An old TBBP user and this one looks nicer. :)

 

 

EDIT: Been trying, and it seems it's HDT which is doing it. Probably going have see on their forums instead.

I reinstalled everything, Skyrim and then the mods with your introduction. I still got no breast collision but I thing I know what I forgot. Will be right back here and tell you if I fixed it or still no collision. When I follow this guide here, http://hdt.monsto.com/forum/index.php?/tutorials/article/8-setup-breast-collision/ I have to name one txt Icon like the path to my .xml file. Does it matter if I name it Data\SKSE\plugins\hdt or Data\SKSE\plugins\hdt.xml? in the folder its called hdt but it is an xml file so Im not sure how to name it maybe thats the problem why it isnt working for me.

wow i never found that breast-collision guide on the hdt-forum itself :) i guess you should name the file "hdt.xml" - in my cases it was always an xml file - or just open the file and you will see if it is an xmlish file or not..

i don't see a "SKSEPlugin_Load" in your log so i guess, you're starting up your game in the default way like before.. right? But you have to start the game with this new, special built shortcut on your desktop named "Skyrim (SKSE)".. when you hit that, you will see for a second a typcial windows command-line window which will startup the game with some special parameters behind the .exe - only in that way, the SKSE system is loaded after startup and only then HDT will ever work...

 

lol and as i see now.. i still have some ugly errors currently.. something with my skeleton is wrong oO i guess i have to re-install XP32.. moded too much around xD but in the game, the collision is fully working, i don't know :)

Ofc I run Skyrim with the SKSE exe :D but I dont know why no collision I reinstalled and still the same. I think I should give up :/

What I have to do that all armors from the list in the introduction have the preset I patched with? I created my own preset and batch build all groups but after it some of them look like the vanilla one e.g. adrianne avenicci clothes were shorter before I reinstall all of my mods. So what I made wrong with bodyslide?

what happens if you select one of these armor-presets in bodyslide directly - when you hit "preview", does it look correct? Do you have installed caliente tools directly in your skyrim/data folder, so all paths are correct? is the body-preset that you've created selectable when you have an armor-preset selected in bodyslide? that's all that comes into my mind currently...

@ Jebbie thx I will try if I will come back to CBBE. Installing UNPB atm just for testing how it looks. But having some face texture problems and I didnt found a solution so I reinstall Skyrim.
