Kapes Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I know there are Knotting animations in Sexlab now thanks to Panic's animations, but the only way to set a decently long amount of time on the anim is to set all end stages really high, which looks awkward when a human has a 3 minute long orgasm. So I was wondering If we could see specific stage timers for individual creatures. It would also be nice if we could see some randomness to the timers as well so animations are not always exactly the same amount of time every time.

As for random length, while it would be cool. It would also add a lot more scripting which could cause some problems for some people. So while I am all for more options, it would need a on/off button for those that don't want or can't handle more scripting on their computer.

Ashra XIII Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 The only problem I have with this sort've thing, is... what are you doing while knotted? it doesn't seem like something that would be terribly interesting to play out, since you'd basically just be stuck there, lying under the thing. Unless a whole custom set of animations and possibly 'struggle' options (like Devious Devices has), I don't really see what would be fun about this. I'd happily use the mod if someone did all that custom work, but I just don't know if the interest is out there.

The penis of male canids has what is scientifically called a bulbus glandis, (the knot) which is a piece of erectile tissue on it that swells with blood. Now, ordinarily this wouldn't be an unusual thing... That's what sex organs generally do, swell up and get stiff. But in this case, that swelling can actually cause the penis to become locked inside of the vagina of the female. They get stuck together, and can't separate until the male finishes and the swelling goes down. The evolutionary basis for this is to ensure fertilization (pregnancy) of the female, since she can't pull away from the male while his ejaculation is taking place and for some time after the fact. Nothing leaks out and competing males can't get into her. The time they are stuck together can vary from a few minutes to half an hour or more. This gives the males wigglers plenty of time to reach the egg. The more you know.
