TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 I've seen lots of appearance replacer mods for "Adelaisa Vendicci". I have the appearance replacer mod for her, but I'm hoping there's a mod that makes her stronger, unlike the vanilla stats. I know, I can use Manipulator to make her essential, but I'm hoping there's a mod to make her less of a wimp in terms of stats. Let's just say that she's my type, but she keeps getting killed in standard vanilla encounters if I don't use Manipulator to make her essential.

Using Xedit is quite easy to make any NPC overpowered, just add the indicated perks, in this case One Handed and Archery perks should be enough, although I always end up adding all the perks of their class and in the case of mages (e.g. Aranea or Illia)I also alter their spell repertoire to something much more useful than what is included in vanilla. Don't forget to add the "Auto-calc Stats" and "PC Level Mult" flags. Also, modify "Calc min level" and "Cal max level" because most vanilla followers are completely useless once you reach high levels, especially when you play on legendary difficulty like I always do, since the default difficulty is ridiculously easy. If you add good combat animations and weapons you will need to play on the maximum difficulty if you want to appreciate the full repertoire of your new combos and not kill any weakling with a slap. Good hunting
深淵の神 Posted March 24, 2025 Posted March 24, 2025 (edited) Here so she can keep leveling up and not get stuck, you can also add an essential flag for inmortality: Here you add perks Here you can change her fighting style, although it must be attached according to her class. As I often do, I think the simplest solution is to use console commands. For stronger you likely want "setlevel" and you already know "setessential". So I would recommend that you open the console, click on your target (make sure her name is showing) and then type: setlevel 1000 0 1 100 setessential 1 With these commands you have made it so that she remains at the same level as your character and is essential. You have to do it every game but it takes, what?, 15 seconds? More information can be found here: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console

Vanus Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 OP, XEdit and NFF are ideal here as shown above though if you don't have the Unofficial Patch and Cutting Room Floor her class is probably still set to Citizen which is a problem. Class controls skill points and attribute gains per level in which Citizen is functionally useless, the patch changes her to CombatWarrionr1H which is pretty standard for a housecarl. The point being is that there doesn't need to be a mod clogging your load order if you're willing to use the Editor program.
FauxFurry Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Why has no one posted this link yet? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/152446
