I'm pretty sure the mod didn't replace the "younger" version of her in the cut scenes, I think that was even explicitly stated on the mod page. Either way, she's like 17 and 1/2 if in the flashback scenes. I'd get it if she was like 12, but the model that's being used is nearly identical to the "adult" model. Her age is literally just an arbitrary number in this case. This is just taking things to an unnecessarily absurd degree to protect what isn't even a real person. The game has a nude or mostly nude model of her in the files so if her age is a problem the entire game should be banned from the nexus and not just the mod itself.

actually I've been playing Valhalla for weeks with a pretty good nude mod off Nexus, part of a bundle of Reforgers featuring fairly extensive customization.

The mod was incorrectly taken down again by a Nexus moderator who can't read notes, the mod was taken down way back when I uploaded it originally because I didn't make it clear that it doesn't effect her younger model so the moderator suggested I make it clear in the title and description that it's for her adult model only and that he would tag it and add a background note to say it had already been manually approved but this weekend it was taken down again by a different moderator who apparently can't read, the mod has now been restored but set to hidden by me because Ubisoft continue to patch all the ways of loading mods and make it harder by making the files larger and larger with every update, nobody wants to download a 60GB mod just to play nude and I got sick of people who don't know how to make mods telling me "what I should do" in private messages and comments so until a proper functioning workaround for loading mods is found that Ubisoft can't kill then the mod will remain hidden as it's useless anyway at the moment as it can't be loaded ingame

oh boy yeah this really sucks why is Ubisoft doing that? are they doing it on purpose or is it for good reason?

Ubisoft have never really liked people modding there games they've just decided now is the time to crack down on it, shadows is there most encrypted singleplayer game I've ever seen so finding the files you want to mod is a pain in the ass already and then with every update they're purposely blocking and patching all methods to mod the game

Maybe they don't need my money.  I don't know; nevertheless, they've lost a sale from me when they decided to block mods.  We have to ban together to stop the game developers from controlling the games we have purchased, especially single player games.

That's the crazy thing! with how much financial trouble Ubisoft are in right now they need our money they'd just rather shit on us all and turn us away with silly things like preventin a modding community, updating there EULA to tell us if they end support for a game they expect us to destroy all our copies of it...

Your choice but many people would be happy to download a 6GB file to get your mod running again. The face mods are still available in that way.

I am just so sorry you had to take it down due to Ubisoft being NON mod friendly. Its why i love modding Cyberpunk and Bethesda games ( even if that can be jankie lol) . Even Stalker 2 is doing good with mods. although there isnt anything adult done for it yet like nsfw lore friendly posters, magazines etc. Ovlivion Remasterd sems slow but maybe the community is waiting for SkyBlivion.

Firstly they've changed something related to how transparent textures work meaning I can't get the mod to function correctly anyway and the only way I can do it at the minute is have her nude but still have panties on, the current patch size is 15GB with another update on the way probably bringing the file size to 20GB so it's currently not worth my time unpacking and repacking a 20GB file if it's only a half functioning mod, I haven't fully given up on the mod yet and I am still looking at all sorts of new ways to do it but with Ubi being so anti mod at the minute it's not looking likely that a new permanent method of loading mods will be any time soon

 

Edit: also the face mods are not 6GB they are 6GB compressed on Nexus Mods but once you download the file it's an 11.6GB file

I don't know exactly what they've changed but with the recent update when I load a custom transparent image it fucks the image up and makes it look really dark and glossy and after days of messing around I'm still clueless as to what it is they've changed, the other option is to leave her lower body as default and have her partially nude instead but again this means the mod will be a 15GB mod and potentially a 20GB mod with the next update

I may have accidentally found a solution to the glossy lower body, I'm still experimenting with it but hopefully I will be able to have an updated version ready by tomorrow, I won't be providing different pube texture options this time though as it takes far too long to unpack and repack the mod with each texture version

As I have been saying though, with every update Ubisoft are increasing the file size of the patch file so this means if the patch starts to breach 20GB I will not be able to upload the mod to Nexus as there file size limit is 20GB so when this day inevitably comes then there will be nothing I can do to make this mod as it will be completely out of my hands, with any luck Ubi will be finished with the game before it gets to that point but who knows they could always make the files size 25GB just to fuck with us

BTW, about the 20 GB limit, can't you just split the file into several parts during compression? like https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/198?tab=files They also split their 30 GB mod file into 2 parts. Or am I on the wrong track?

I hope that somebody will make something that allows install a mod as a patch, without that "all game content in 1 file" nonsense. Mods aside, this is bad for performance too,

I go away for 2 days tomorrow morning but thankfully I caught todays game update (nothing much has changed I'm now just offering two install choices on the page) but knowing my luck the mod will get incorrectly taken down again as every time I've been away a Nexus Moderator has incorrectly removed the mod because they ether can't read the name and description or they did absolutely no research before jumping the gun, hopefully the last moderator I spoke to has made it clear on the back end of the site that the mod is fine 🙄
