Giant Camp Sky Bug for ONE specific animation (Papyrus Log included!)

Hello!

I'm having a very odd and specific bug with an animation. I get the notorious "teleport to the giant camp and fly up into the sky" bug, but only during one specific event from Devious Followers Continued SE. Every other animation has worked fine with my fairly large modlist and ~100hrs of play. In my search for how to fix this problem I've only seen people have this bug occur for many/all animations and some posts say this bug us only suppose to happen outdoors which is not the case for me (will happen indoors as well). Having no luck searching or asking about it in the Devious Followers Continued thread (I did get one great reply but unfortunately it did not fix my issue), I figured I'd ask here. Anyway some details:

When the bug occurs specifically:

- When the Ownership Deal dice roll event occurs and the *second* animation plays.

- The first animation (solo chastity belt masturbation) plays without issue. The second animation (whether it is a solo repeat of the previous animation or a male-on-female animation, either can occur during this event depending on chance/player actions) triggers the bug.

The bug occurring:

- PC and Follower (other actor taking place in the scene) are teleported to a rock crevice near a giant camp (I believe it is Bleak Falls Barrows) and fly up into the sky

- The sex scene plays out in the sky and actors fall back to the ground and die/incapacitate

- Any further dialog with the follower afterwards is simply "..." with no way to continue or initiate any other dialog. When this event triggers again (time based) it will start and allow dialog within the event but the this bug will repeat along with being back to bricked dialog after.

- Occasionally, shortly after teleporting the game will blackscreen and become unresponsive and must be closed via task manager. Has happened perhaps ~10% of the times I've recreated.

- Minor secondary issue: Chaurus Estrus tentacle/dwemer machine animations are sometimes playing instead of the solo chastity belted masturbation scene.

From my research and the replies I got on the Devious Followers Continued thread, I suspect this is some kind of issue with the animation filtering/tag problems. I tried looking through SSEEdit and the Papyrus logs and saw some errors/messages that I think may be relevant but I'm pretty new to Skyrim modding so I don't really know enough to tell or even start how to go about trying to resolve the issue. I've done some small patches to leveled lists and editing item keywords, but I don't even know where stuff like events which trigger sexlab animations are and how to see/edit the animation tags they look for/filter.

Thanks for any help, suggestions, and tips! Let me know if there is anything more I can provide to help.

Old bug. The camp is Bleakwind Basin located at 0,0,0 coordinates on the map and something is forcing the actors to teleport there.

Usual culprit is Defeat borking out.

There is really no fix for it.

Was it not a Sex Lab setting? 'Teleport to location' or something like that.

If you are going to do it then do it in style.

So that's why they call you Grey Cloud 🤔

This bug is caused by script lag.

(Going off memory here). Yes but the lag is caused by the character trying to get to a spot which it can't get to and eventually it times/defaults to the 0,0,0 spot.

I love that image. Taken 7 years ago (Feb 2018).

Here we are on final approach to Bleakwind airport.

that's the result of the lag, not the cause.

Coordinates not found in given time, default to center of cell.

Fair enough.

IIRC it was CPU who posted the SexLab solution way back when.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't make sense to me that there would be no fix for this as I seem to be the only one who has had this problem (at least who has posted about it) in a 4 year old mod so it has to be something with my build. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to best learn about how mods call up and/or filter sexlab animations and where I can view/edit these processes? It seems clear to me based on what is happening in game and from what I can understand of the Papyrus log that this event is having trouble properly identifying the correct animation to play and if no one else has any thoughts I will probably pursue this to see if I can figure it out.

It's still happening... I found other posts mentioning this. You're not alone. :) 20250226-resize.jpg.85b8884a0d6fa69cfb811258adc92f8b.jpg

no fix for

The fix is

check, assign the proper resources for your scripts.

stay at framerate 60

remove your 4k chicken nests

Use elephant latency tester if the script terminates in the range 80ms.

Yeah I've experienced this bug a couple of times. Funny thing, too... in every playthrough of mine, at exactly the same spot, there's some structures floating in the sky from improperly deleted objects from other mods.
