MUDR Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 Hello, I am new to forum posting so please excuse any etiquette I miss out on. When running FNIS, I get the same error, accompanied by a t-pose glitch ingame, >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<< FNIS Behavior V7.6 2/21/2025 9:38:34 PM Generator: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones) male: Default (99 bones) Reading FNISBase V7.6 ... Reading FNISCreatureVersion V7.6 ... >>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_SexLab_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< Reading SexLab V1.64 ... >>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_SexLabAP_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< Reading SexLabAP V1.64 ... >>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_SexLabCreature_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< Reading SexLabCreature V1.64 ... I have done as the first error says, running the game through steam first and it still did not solve the problem. I have triple checked to make sure all of my mods are up to date and for SSE. I have also made sure I am on patch 1.6.640, My current modlist/load order is: CBBE Bodyslide XP32SSE FNIS FNIS Creature Pack SkyUI_5_2_SE PapyrusUtil AE SE JContainers SE RaceMenu SKSE 2.2.6 Nemesis Optional Quick Start - SE Mfg Fix NG SLAL_SE SexlabFrameworkAE_v166b.7z Any help is appreciated, thank you.
CaptainJ03 Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 You've installed steam in Program Files (x86) - which you should not do. There's always problems with admin rights and stuff. Make a new folder in c:\ (aka the root directory) and coll it something like games, or steam, whatever you like. When you've just downloaded Skyrim, you'll most probably be on 1.6.1170 - double check which version of any mod you're downloading, especially SKSE.
pinky6225 Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 (edited) You also have the wrong FNIS version i suspect as it shouldn't be... Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - Ignoring the ?? bit it says skyrim 32 bit (Legendary edition) and not Skyrim SE 64bit: 1.5.97.0 Which FNIS for SE should show, also check what it says on the top bar when you run it The number of bones is wrong as well if your using XP32SSE but having the correct FNIS version might fix that, should be something like Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (126 bones) FNIS SE is here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038 Edited February 22, 2025 by pinky6225 1
