Hi guys,

I've played Skyrim on XBox before but just got the game for pc (thanks steam) so am therefore new to modding. I am so excited about mods but can honestly say that I am completely overwhelmed. It seems that are so many mods, which is great, but a lot of them clash with each other. I'm trying to work on making my av and have been looking at Bombshell B cup from SeveNBase... It says on their d/l page that

To run the Mod properly you have to install a skeleton which supports BBP or TBBP such as XP32's XP32 Maximum Skeleton (BBP and TBBP support) OR one of Skulltyrant's Custom Skeleton Replacers (BBP or TBBP if you use the TBBP body

Does this mean that I have to download one of those skeletons and apply it to a char, or just that I have to download it first? I haven't even opened the game yet so I don't have any chars to apply it to. Should I start a char with no mods first and then start downloading mods?

Also, are there any mods that make your spouse do anything more then just sit at your house with your follower all day? So annoying when you finally get married and then.. just.. nothing.

Oh, and anyone have any favorite mods for guy models? Oh, and those skeletons from above, will those work for male skeletons or should I download like.. A skeleton for male, a skeleton for female, a model for male, a model for female, and then a skin for male and a skin for female? Do those skeletons get applied to all chars in the game or just the ones I make?

Once I have all this done, is there a favorite sexy time mod that will add different interactions. Do I have to have specific models or skeletons to work with each mod? Is there one skeleton or model that works best with everything, i.e. armor, hair, animations?

Sorry for the influx of questions. I blame it on coffee and excitement.

It means go through the lists and pick one that you want Skulltyrant's one has multiple ones to choose from that work with whatever is listed like ragdoll so you just have to pick one or if you don't want a bunch of stuff that the skeleton works with you can download one of the plain ones the TBBP ones are toward the bottom of Skulltyrant's downloads like the pack 1 is with not much added and each one after adds things to it. You will also need a BPP/TBBP body replacer.

For spouse they do give you money every day there is a mod called lovers comfort that when you go to bed in a house where your spouse is it will switch to a animation of you and your spouse getting it on. I think there are other spouse mods on the nexus as well and I think you can have a spouse come with you on quests.

Complicated answer.

Best to start a game with absolutely no mods installed and save it the moment you're clear of the opening chapter.  Save it and copy it somewhere so you have a clean save to work with if you need to go back to it in the future.

Most mods will have a list of requirements ( core mods ) needed for them to work.  Most of the animation mods require SKSE and FNIS at the bare minimum to function at all.  SKY-UI is another core requirement for many as the mod configurations are done within it.

For a friskier spouse,  ( and characters / creatures for that matter ) try Ashal's Sex Lab mod.

For your male characters, give Schlongs of Skyrim ( SOS ) a try.

For female characters, there are a lot of choices ( body styles )  out there ( CBBE is the one I normally use )

When I'm loading mods up,  I usually save the skeleton mods ( XP32 is my favorite ) for last to make sure the skeleton overwrites any other mod skeletons that may have been installed previously.

If you are just starting out and want to use schlongs of Skyrim I would recommend you use XP32's maximum compatibility skeletons as it is compatible with both schlongs and bombshell bodies. Skully's skeletons are custom made for certain mods setups so you'd really only need those if you are using the mods that they were designed for. XP32 however is perfect for just SoS and bombshell bodies. That and all the acronym abbreviations could easily get one lost if you have no clue as to what they mean.

That said I would also recommend starting out with the vanilla game and adding mods one by one as you discover what you like to use and what also works. This is helpful in the case of aiding you in narrowing down chances of mod conflicts and such. Always keep a back up save in handy in which you did not have the mod installed and you should be ok.

Also, if you plan on using SoS you may want to check out Geonox's faces. Not sure what actually is recommended for males but it's what I use myself honestly and it works great.

Thanks for the help everyone, I really appreciate it.

@DoubleD ... you are so right about all the acronyms... it's making my head hurt.

Even worse is I'm nervous about breaking the game, it seems like there are so many rules about which mod to d/l first and which mod to d/l last and in what order and if you d/l this mod you have to change the other mod so it doesn't break and... aghh.. lol.

Download the skeleton and install it first before the body.

There are mods that make them do more, yes. There's LoversComfort here on LoversLab that will make them have sex with you whenever you sleep in your bed with them in the house and you can ask them to have sex as well. There are also mods where they'll actually physically open up a shop an so on.

For guys the best is SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim, without a doubt.

Hello I am  newbie too and I think I can help you out.

Yesterday I watched much of the tutorial videos made by Gopher.

It really helped me understand better. Have patience with the videos, he covers a lot and he assumes the viewer doesn't know a thing.

So it can be boring if you already knew something that he is explaining in full detail. But it really helped me big time.

This is his youtube page, look for Beginners guide to modding Skyrim Playlist in the middle of his page.
