@hawkins85 Thank you for that tip. I will check that auto normalize settings and see what it does.

Right now I'm getting merged vertices all over Tifa's mesh whenever they are close. I got sealed lips and also bridges in the thigh gap in the Thicc version, because they are touching in that mesh. And all this after checking everything: automerge off, mirror off, doing the weight transfer with the right settings (face interpolated, mix mode replace, source by name, destination all layers), also deleting all vertex groups and removing modifiers on the destination mesh. I even downloaded a few weight transfer plugins to check results, but they only help for smoothing transitions it seems.

Now I understand why everybody complains about weight paint.

Thanks hawkins85, good to know that you are over here too.

That is terrifying. Great for a horror mod though.

Tifa ND THICC Rebirth

Description:

A nude mod that makes Tifa's body more voluptuous and curvy, as it should be according to her original design.

Function:

- Replaces Tifa's clothing, making her nude during the game. Replaces: Tifa Standard, Tifa Soldier, Tifa Soldier without helmet, Costa del Sol clothing, Costa del Sol bikini, Loveless clothes, and Tifa Changing.
- The models have good jiggling because the game's physics works very well. Compatible with extra jiggly/animation mods if you want to intensify the jiggling.
- No Dresscode or anything fancy. If you want to view Tifa's body in all her naked glory for artistic purposes, you must manually copy the files to the "~mod" folder.

Requirements:
Tifa Invisible Weapons (to hide the Gloves, otherwise they will clip through her arms):
https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/366

For extra jiggle (optional):
Improved Jiggle Physics for Tifa:
https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/810

Installation:
Same as most mods. Copy the 3 files from the version that you like inside the game installation folder "~mods/". If you don't have this folder, create it. Don't remove or change the "_P" at the end of the file names or the mod. You can only use one version at a time. If you want to change the hairstyle for a certain part of the game, save, close the game, replace the files in the "~mod" folder with the version that you want to use, and relaunch the game.

NOTES:

- I modded combining and changing all that was needed with the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth assets: changed to FF7 Rebirth skeleton and textures, modded changing to have the FF7 Rebirth "Standard" and "Costa del Sol" hairstyles, etc.
-Petrification (Tifa turning into a rock) should work normally when an enemy attacks you with it.
-Didn't test if the wet textures to show water droplets on Tifa's skin work during the scenes when they should be referenced. It is known that the game was released without Cloud's water textures working when he is in contact with a body of water, so it is unlikely that the water droplets work on Tifa with this mod.

-I followed the FF7 Rebirth game's correct use of its assets for material setup, especially for the skin (skin surface; textures, pores, details, separated RGB channels, blah, blah, etc). It makes a huge difference with surface lighting distribution when zooming and getting close to the character. If these material assets are not included, the skin will look flat, and the whole character will look cartoony.
-This is my very first mod. If you experience any error, like the mod not replacing some of Tifa's clothes, let me know. If it's easy, I should be able to fix it... I think.

The model Bunnysuit by Niyakhalifa was also used.
Tifa ND Rebirth THICC model was made by me, Lurkerj aka pepejpn, by extracting, editing, and combining (Frankensteined), the models Bunnysuit by Niyakhalifa, and Tifa ND Remake by Kazumashirou
Both base models were downloaded by me, Lurkerj aka pepejpn, in 2022, from Nexusmods.com, when said assets were made available for free download by their authors.

Thank you to all who helped me with very invaluable tips in Discord and the forum LoversLabs.com. I appreciate the comradely.

Sorry, it took me so long. I had to start again with blender because of the weight screwing up by merging the vertices.

@Kimuriel13 Hi. The hair mesh was separated from the Costa del Sol 2 model of the game (PC0002_09) and after joined with the new Tifa model. Then I used the default "Standard Hair" material on it instead of the default "Costa hair" material, as the latter had a dark patch of shadow where the tulip flower was supposed to be, which I removed because I prefer Tifa without anything. I didn't do anything besides that to the Costa hair mesh itself since all I wanted was for Tifa to look as intended by the game with her default materials. I also exported/imported with the normal settings as shown in the tutorials I followed. Once the default materials were referenced and worked, I used them the same way for the other versions with their hair meshes. That's all I know. If you can find the solution, please let me know, maybe it's something that I missed and should know. Have you tried with any other hair color mod?

BTW, that's a nice eye color mod that you are using!

Here you have some screenshots of that same scene with the default materials as they come in these mods, without any noticeable issue.

Yes i have checked with other mods and it is there just less visible with darker hair colors and even on mine its not always visible it has to do with the lights! Btw i know its faces of the mesh cause i am a moder for different games and i have seen this before it usually is created by the extraction tools some time they invert some faces so you have to set them again from either the face area or do custom normals

@Kimuriel13 To the list of "known issues," while I look into it and discover when those normals became rogue lol. Thank you for noticing.

Np! and tbh you dont have to worry about it too much as i said its only visible under certain lights and only if you use different color hairs.. the default should be ok and for the most part any of the darker hairs mods

the shadow is caused by ambient occlusion, you can create dummy material instance, make instance of it and change wide occlusion texture to empty white

The name of the mod was called Fantasy body for main characters and NPCs. I was going to download it and the stupid ass nexusmods site said your not allowed to see this content. Then I clicked on the modder and he's banned now. They must just removed it because I could still see the page. The mod had other NPCs nude or at least topless from the pics. I'm not sure what else they had. I can see if I can take a screen shot of the page before they removed it. I doubt it work though. Also the mod had 42 files.

I'm a bit out of the loop, what's been going on over there NexusMods, it seems like whenever I read something about NM it's them banning people left, right and center

@Skyhorse46 This is great! I still need to test if the wet textures work in-game when Tifa touches water. I know that it doesn't happen with Cloud.

@DraconisG The Miko Tifa was removed first, but the repost is still there, almost at the bottom of page 38. I removed a bunch of preview pictures so it would be a little easier to find.

@ThottyThots That modder has been on Nexus for years now. I even donated to him recently. He was a friendly guy, and he always shared tips on how to do stuff and all. The issue was that he opened up a Patreon and promoted on Nexus his FFRebirth mod of the character that shouldn't be named in the modding scene, and got banned.

No idea I only use nexus mainly for FF Rebirth mods. Like you I keep hearing bad shit about them.

Most news I hear about Nexusmods is primarily from clickbait/doomposting twitter accounts, so it's getting very hard to filter "quality" information from the engagement farming articles.
Nexusmods apparently underwent a few changes in the background since the original owner wanted to retire and transfer the website to someone else.

According to them "They are the right people" for the job, but most people online don't seem convinced.

The fact that you almost never hear context or the actual reason behind why a creator/mod has been removed from said twitter accounts doesn't help Nexusmods' mainstream image, and enables a lot of people to shove whatever political beliefs they have into it, when it might be something else entirely.

OMG I can't believe f80h has been banned from Nexus. He is one of my favourite modders. I recently played through Cyberpunk and the Mass Effect trilogy using his busty NPC mods. Now that they've all been removed, I'm very glad I still have them installed! The new owners of Nexus certainly seem to be shaking things up.

Until Nexus gets rid of the "Show only adult content" toggle I'm convinced the doomposting is all FUD.
