In Japanese games I never understood why people always wear sandals on the beach and they associate the swimming costume with sandals because at least in Latin America if you imagine a swimming costume you take it for granted that they wear barefoot.

So much in the Persona saga, Fatal Frame (with the DLC of the swimming costumes), this Final Fantasy Rebirth and other games always include sandals to the swimming costume and it's something that really sucks.

 

Miracle that the Tales of Xillia 2 DLC includes this barefoot girl's swimming costume in the DLC, but the ones of the other girls do include those horrible sandals.

I don't know why video game developers don't sell Barefoot Girls DLC, it would sell like hot cakes and they wouldn't have to worry about the game's age rating going up either.

In the USA sandals are also associated with the beach and swimsuits are always associated with sandals as well in the USA. The fact that Japan associates that is more of a western country culture that got mixed with their own over time after the USA helped rebuild Japan after the A-Bomb hit Japan.

I busted to Cloud's nude mods in Remake so many times. He is glorious. But now also Zack?? The nude mods can't come soon enough!! But overall, the entire Remake series must have the most attractive characters in all gaming
