Sunja44 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Look at this little beauty: Northern Priestess It's already fully CBBE HDT enabled, just needs bodyslide files. Edit: Ok, beaten twice to it, but increases the strength of demand :-) Looks extremely good. If no one wants to do this. I offer. Fret not folks, this baby is my to do list. Modders fighting for doing something, I would like to have ? I love it :-) Is there such thing as poaching? Because I was already working on this one for a few days. Much appreciated, thx.
EpicBurrito Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Has anyone had any luck getting the Beat Blades Haruka mod to work in bodyslide? I'm having trouble removing the base mesh so I can start forming the armor. Whenever I try to remove the base mesh it's removing sections of the armor as well, which is a downer. Pictures of armor in game: http://imgur.com/17K646m http://imgur.com/olG86zc ESP and BSA file, since it can be hard to find: https://mega.co.nz/#!FR9hzJLC!LvpUhzkMeQsQoL3RbcxOMoomghaeKWBtQNT87ukMzf0
TheHuntress1970 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 How hard is it converting armor? There are great pieces that I would like to do and share with everyone. Like this one...
sogpneman151 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 How hard is it converting armor? There are great pieces that I would like to do and share with everyone. Like this one... Depends on how it's setup in the first place. Simple armors are easier to convert. Armor pieces that do not conform tightly to a body are also more difficult because you cannot just follow the lines of the base shape. A lot of older(and some newer) armors are improperly made where retextures are done through nifskope instead of Texture Sets done in the Creation Kit. When that is the case it's easier to go into the esp and make the conversion to Texture Sets yourself, otherwise you have to individually convert every duplicate piece of armor in the set. TL;DR: It depends. The bikini you linked would be easy and a good type of armor to convert to get you into Bodyslide.

Bare in mind there there is still a bit of a learning curve when trying to learn Outfit Studio. Speaking as someone who had ZERO experience with 3D meshes when starting out, I can safely say the curve isn't so bad but it's there. All I can offer is don't be afraid to make mistakes, as trial and error is going to be your best teacher. Also don't be afraid to seek advice from all the experienced OS users here. Each one of us can offer unique insights on how to help you convert. If you really are serious about learning to convert, I suggest reading this handy guide right here as I still confer to it from time to time. I wish you good luck my good lady, as we could always do with more OS users here. PS: As for the outfit you linked, I forgot all about that mod. If you don't mind I can take a crack at it for ya, since I'm more or less active again.
petkuc Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 You guys can fix the clipping issues yourselves if you learn to use outfit studio. Any thanks guys for the conversions!! Really appreciate it l can not fix it.I do not know how to do it
guk Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) @ talk about learning OS: I can't really recommend to start with the Unofficial Guide here on LL. First of all it doesn't cover the most essential part of OS, which are the conversion references. If you actually follow the guide, you'll end up spraying around with the brush on the original mesh which is the best way to completely ruin it. It also isn't quite up to date, lots of things have changed in OS in the meantime. So instead just check out the official guide by Ousnius on Nexus first, then if you understand the basic process you can read the unofficial guide. Just as important as knowing the conversion mechanics, is to have a proper strategy for the whole process. How i handle this right now: I. Mod Organizer If you don't use it, start doing that immediately before anything else. There are a few extra clicks you'll have to do when creating mods, but it makes the whole process of creating, editing, managing and publishing mods so much easier and safer that i don't support users without MO. You may want to reserve a sunday afternoon and watch the entire playlist of Gopher's MO Tutorial, perhaps skip the introduction and Steam Workshop parts. Before you continue, make sure your Overwrite folder in MO is clean (!). II. Basic conversion install the outfit mod you want to convert open OS "Load Outfit..." -> pick the outfit mesh to convert -> delete the body mesh that comes with the outfit "Load Reference..." -> existing sliderset (usually "UNPconvert.xml" in Bodyslide's ConversionSets folder) -> select the correct subset like UNPB High to CBBE "Conform All" -> move conversion slider to 100% -> "Set Base Shape" -> "Export Current... -> Export .nif" overwrite existing _1.nif III. Setting up the project restart OS (just to be safe) -> "New Project..." -> use a template (like CBBE HDT or UUNP HDT) -> Next pick a proper name how the conversion should later show up in BS2 and mod folders (important) -> select the outfit .nif you converted in step II. -> Finish "Conform All" -> "Save Project As..." -> Exit OS and BS2 Check your overwrite folder and make sure there is nothing else inside other than a folder called "CalienteTools" with "ShapeData" and "SliderSets" inside of the project you just created (!!!), otherwise delete the non-OS-project files now Right-click on the overwrite button -> create mod -> name it to whatever you want (you can rename this at any time) -> "ignore missing game data" and activate the mod IV. Backing up files I cannot stress this enough; ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR PROJECT FILES after every important edit. Now is the first time to do that, go to the file dump area of your PC's hard drives and create a backup folder for OS projects. I suggest creating one main folder for each outfit, and then create subfolders for each step where you drop a copy of your whole OS project's mod folder, like "0001 start" - "0002 weight copy" - "0012 boots added" and so on. This way you can always revert any number of steps knowing where exactly you will pick up, instead of starting over from scratch or trying to fix something you broke. V. Further strategy I suggest to repeat the basic conversion process for all parts of the outfit that need to be converted (boots, gloves etc), before doing anything else. Certainly helps to have everything as a handy basic package in your backup folder, from which you can restore any files with a few clicks. Once you have all parts of the outfit in the project files, you can also create a group and attach it to either CBadvanced or Unified UNP (or both if you know what you're doing). This will make testing much easier so you always get the correct presets and can use batch build. Any steps after that depend on the complexity of the outfit. I'd generally recommend to start by editing the base shape for clipping first, then once more to make room for slidermorphs (remember "Set Base Shape -> Conform All" everytime you do that). Editing the actual slidermorphs will be the very last thing before you finish the project, because everytime you have to use "Set Base Shape -> Conform All" when editing the baseshape, all your slider edits are RESET. In particular for UUNP, the golden rule is "Base Shape Edits >>> Slider Edits" because all the UNP and 7B shapes will have the same clipping in the same spots. Be gentle when editing the mesh, nobody wants to see a dented or distorted conversion. And always change the Brush size and strength, a good idea to learn the important OS hotkeys now: [space] Brush Settings [G] Ghost Mode [W] Wireframe [T] Textures [L] Lighting And always use the UNDO function if you're not 100% convinced of your last click. Some things can not be undone, so remember to save and backup frequently. Paranoia is a virtue here. VI. Weighting Once you go into the game to test your outfit, you'll probably get shitloads of clipping everywhere. There is absolutely no way around to edit the "weighting" of the outfit, which essentially defines how the meshes will move in relation to the bones and baseshape inside it. The weight copy part function of OS is quite rudimentary, as you'll notice it tries to do in <1 second where an external tool like Mesh Rigger will take several minutes. Optimally you can use Blender to edit weighting, otherwise use Mesh Rigger for a much more precise copy and then manually fix possible clipping by comparing the weighting layout of the original outfit mesh. Simply open two OS clients side by side, with your project on one side and the original outfit in the other. This a lot of trial and error until you understand the logic behind it, and without being able to see the weighting effects on an animated body in Blender you're gonna need a fast PC to keep the process of "edit in OS -> start skyrim -> test outfit -> edit" somewhat acceptable. Make sure to use a savegame in a small interior cell, best from a custom studio with good lighting like the Aether Suite. One trick that makes the weighting for BS2 projects much easier, once everything seems to be painted correcty but still keeps clipping in animations, it can be a good idea to increase the distance between mesh and body just a tiny bit. Hope this helps a few people to get started, and prevents a lot of frustration Some parts should be rather put into a full conversion tutorial rather than a strategical overview, but i wanted to make sure that the common traps are highlighted (like starting by editing the "SSH" slider). EpicBurrito Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 The verdict: It worked! Thanks for the guide Guk! http://imgur.com/a/pwCpg There's a bit of clipping and I'm still trying to make the floating coat parts use HDT physics (I got the breasts and butt working), but I can work on that tomorrow. Also, I have to fix the legs and gloves now.

krocoz Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64584/? Bump! Or anyone can give me the sliders value during the conversion in OS so I can try to convert it?

DragonReborn321 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Hey guys, i'm new to all this and have been adding mods for the past days. Hitting brick walls and having to troubleshoot a lot, but I managed to correct the errors and today started with an almost complete personal modded game.... However.... When i was about to start the missions with all my perverted sex mods added.... I thought "i need to have the vanilla females armor textures converted to cbbe skimpy, I have the mods i just need to use Bodyslide to convert them" BIG MISTAKE on my part! I do not know how to use body slide other than adding my personalized female body to ALL npcs's. So when clothed they looked like vanilla npc's, but when there clothes were removed, my busty and thick cbbe body would bust out. So here is what I did that now leaves me at the loading screen when loading a saved game. This directly causes my game to remain at the loading screen- please help! 1.) Outfit/Body = CB++ CalArmor - Storm Cloaks 2.) Preset = Physique - Chubby 3.> I can't remember if I saved my presets like it says I should have 4.) Selected Batch Build and selected/checked the following : Cal Armor - StormCloaks Cal Armor - Stormcloak Gaurds Cal Armor - Vanilla Storm Cloaks Cal Armor - Vanilla Guards I think I replaced something important that is needed in order to play. I do not have the skills or knowledge to fix this and im wicked pissed at myself for attempting to do this without knowing what the hell I was doing. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Idk what the issue was but luckily I made a copy of all my data and the like before the issue and was able to get it working again, it was just a pain in the bungus. It sucks because I can't figure out a way to have my female NPC's wear the skimpy armors I added. I think its because all female NPC's are using my badyslide body. But the armors are still vanilla, not even skimpy and all clipping due to the body not matching.... eh, guess i'll have to deal with it. Thanks again.
draeneis Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 CBBE Curvy HDT bodyslide for Fizz Candy... I have some fixes for this outfit either; I removed the nails at the gloves. Because, when we can color the nails by racemenu using tattoos, why the hell would we need a mesh to color the nails? Secondly, the high heels of the mod was distorted and ugly. I replaced them by another high heels by mk1mk2. However, there might be some seam on ankles. Enjoy... Fizz Candy: http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-10.html This looks extremely amazing thank you for making it. I am not able to find it using the help function in the console. I have tried help fizz or help candy and it doesn't find anything. This has happened before a couple times, but I have successfully installed dozens of bodyslide armors before. Did I install it wrong or can anyone help me? Thanks
