They should appear with the Humanoids portraits.

Thanks for the fast replay. I checked and it seems that my launcher doesn't detect your mod. I unzipped the file and I dragged it in the "mod" folder as any other mod but something isn't working. I noticed that your mod's folder has like a double folder so I tried putting that folder and then i tried putting the main folder but in both case I got nothing. I don't use any mod manager (I tend to manually download everything) and the paradox launcher never detecteed the mod. I don't know what I'm doing wrong

It's not my mod, I'm just a person who is using it.  StarchildKiss made it (and a few other pretty cool mods).

You're right, the zip is packaged a little bit peculiarly.  You want to navigate to the level which has a folder named "hucow_portraits_mod" and the file "hucow_portraits_mod.mod" and extract both of those into your mods folder.  When a mod doesn't show up, it's usually because the *.mod file is missing or corrupt.

Yeah I downloaded some of his other mods and everything went fine but it seems I can't use this one. When I unzip the file I only get the "Hucow Portraits v.1.1" folder and no .mod file execpt for the descriptor.mod file inside said folder. I use 7zip to extract files and it never gave me a problem.Anyway thank you, sometimes it takes ages for people to get an answer or some help

StarchildKiss, can you update this portrait mod for 4.0 ? as i can ONLY see one portrait of HUcow when making a new species instead of all the portraits

I took the liberty of taking way too long to wip up the missing .mod file. Just change the ending to "mod"  after you've downloaded it.

I have experience with paradoxes system through CK3, but it still took me like what 30 minutes to get it to work.

Hucow Portraits - V1.1.txt 178 B · 3 downloads

Hey BM

You said to change the ending to mod but what ending?  Sorry I didn't really understand.

Also is this just replacing the info in the descriptor when I edit it in notepad?

Thanks Pati

if you've downloaded the file you can edit the name of the file yes? what i mean for you to change is the three letters at the end from " .txt " to " .mod "

I hope that makes sense and that it actually works

I can't get it working, I even tried creating a new mod to get a mod file and copy and paste the data in but still no good.

The Paradox launcher on my end didn't even bring anything up about the note.

I never good with these kind of things, I wait to see what happens if nothing oh well.

Thank you for replying mate, hope you have a good day.

copy and paste only works if all the relevant files are in the exact same path. I have seen some people have within the path a drive D, but for me it is all under C documents. And if you check your path and copy paste it make sure the line separating each sections is this " / "

Either way. Hope you'll figure it out somehow

Edit:

Personally I am trying to figure out "Mangos Lewd Diplomacy". Things aren't showing up in game as they should
