HG EyeCandy Body Not Working, I think

Just started modding my oblivion. Currently only have LAPF and the only one working..

This was easy as the load order can found easily.

Trying to get HG eyecandy body to work.

at least this is the one I am using. http://nudemod.com/oblivion-nude-mod-hentai-eyecandy-body-t1550.html

Do I need any mods with this?

I believe this is supposed to at least change the body shape and also the looks of the body.(Am I wrong?)

Lets not talk about getting my character naked.. I can't even get the body to change after applying the mod. I tried the BSA invalidation but it doesn't seem to help. I have no idea how do I choose from the 4 selections they have mentioned as well.

Using Windows 7, running with admin also doesn't work.

What I did was put the downloaded archive in the mods folder of OBMM, then create the omod using that archive and activate it.

It didn't work so I tried running the BSA invalidation but it doesn't work.

(To test, I just tried activating the mod and check the character by creating a new game and using the same character settings. Then deactivating it to see the difference.)

Did I miss out anything or did I misunderstood it?

Thanks in advance.

Says at the bottom of the modders thread. Don't instinctively forget little to persistently use Archive Ivalidation or the Oblivion Nude Mod won't demonstratively work as with intended.

Which means you have to use the archive invalidation in OBMM or the mod will not work as intended. It's located under the utilities on the right side of the OBMM

i can not understand what you did wrong as this is a omod

(it does not matter what windows you have)

you open obmm    you select the omod.7zip  and you activate      a little window pop up    and you choose by clicking on your choice and clicking next  when it is finished you run oblivion     and by undressing the npc it reveals your choice.

In the Modmanager you must set "archive invalidate"  ( only one time and never again) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15185-xeo-sp/?view=findpost&p=496940

And your Omod: perhaps wrong Folder structure?

You must have one Folder (e.g. HGEC Mod) and inside the esp (if the mod has a esp) and the meshes and textures Folder.

Wrong is : Folder "HGEC mod" and inside a  data Folder with esp and meshes/textures Folder inside.

And your Oblivion install path. Do not use the standart path ( C:\Programfiles\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data )

See here Point 1 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8893-installation-guide-with-lovers-mbp-and-wyre-with-bashed-patch/

The Standard path is not good for admin rights and OBSE and causes other Errors.

Hm.. I realize I wasn't ask to choose anything during the create omod option.

fejeena, Thank you very much for your information. I realized I was "trolled" by the archive file provided after seeing your post. There was an extra folder within the archive, resulting an extra folder in the DATA folder so the files wasn't installed properly.

I extract the folder and use that folder as the omod creation target. Now, they actually detect the omod conversation data and also prompt me for options when i activate it...

And Yep! it works.. though the textures can be better... Any good mods to recommend to go with this particular nude mod? Is the  Ozmo's High Rez Skin Textures a good choice?

Anyway, thanks everyone for your inputs...

I am super, super new to modding Oblivion.

I have a fresh Steam install, I've installed OBSE and OBMM so far. Now I want to add some body meshes and textures. I'd like to start out with the HGEC body in this thread (I've already downloaded the .rar file).

So far I've used the archive invalidation tool in OBMM. But that's it. Can someone give me a quick rundown on how to activate this file with the OBMM? I'm just not getting it for some reason.

I know how to manually install items in Skyrim and using both the Skyrim NMM and MO. But this is a new thing for me and just want to get it right the first time. None of the instructions I've seen seem to "click" in my melon head and seem too confusing for some reason.

There is a good step by step readme included.

Manual Install

--------------

1. Backup your data folder.

2. Exract the archive to any folder.

3. Choose which body type you wold like to use and copy the relevant files to the Oblivion's Data folder. You can ignore or delete the "omod conversion data" and the “Screenshots” folder.

OBMM Install

------------

Create the OMOD (Do this section only once)

1. Copy archive to (install folder)\Oblivion\obmm\omod\

2. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.

3. Click the Create button.

4. Click the Add Archive button, find and select the archive, then click Yes.

5. Click the Create omod button, then click OK when it finishes.

Install the mod using OBMM

1. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.

2. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen and follow the instructions (icon should turn blue).

If you do not have NifSkope or can not use it to watch the meshes in the Folders you should choose OBMM install.

But why do you want this Body Mod ? it is not BBB (no bouncing breasts)

Good Body Mods for male and female see The LAPF page in the Spoiler Install Instructions:

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21241-lapf/

There are also listed all other things you need. ( I do not use Wyre Bash and I use Pluggy 125. But all other things I use)

And in the female Body Mod are all bodies that are in "your" Body Mod.

Thanks, I'll check that out.

I was reading the readme.txt files in that .rar, but it wasn't all clear to me. Maybe too much other stuff going on here at the moment? :D

In my game there is nearly nothing added yet. So I don't even have a meshes folder and there is just one thing in the textures folder under "effects".

WOOHOO!

Just added my first Oblivion mod! YAY! :D

Now to find me some more I like. I wanna' pretty it up a bit (since it runs smoother for me on this machine than Skyrim does). Then you just KNOW I'll be throwing on some sexy ol' LoversLab mods. ;)

On a side note, I've been messing around and just got my game controller working as close to how it worked on XBox360 as I can hope for. Took some fiddling around, but I got it and it works great (besides using the right stick to move an arrow in the menus).
