Learned something I never knew.

I have been through Hrolduf's house every time I go to Solsthiem, who would have thought a freakin torch, named torch would be unique.

Solstheim. No wonder I never knew about it. I hate Solstheim.

 

The dude in the video is wrong though. Dragonborn came out around Christmas 2012, not in 2011.

Beth actually did a few interesting things in that expansion, but well... they're all in Solstheim. I hate Solstheim.

I've seen this video and decided to try out that torch but (at least on my game) it's very glitchy. Equip/unequip animation is fairly wonky and leaves my player in weird states when it's holding air with left hand after putting torch down. So idk.

this mod does not touch animations at all, it sounds like something else is messing with your behavior files,

I mean on stock game, I didn't install this mod yet so yeah. It's just something going on with my game. I'm using Pandora so maybe something goes south there.

The animation issue with this torch actually seems to be vanilla. I have FNIS, but the putting back animation indeed leaves PC with an outstreched empty hand.

 

What was I doing on Solstheim in the first place, since I apparently hate this place so much? I went there to get Champin's Cudgel so I could put chaos enchantment on my daedric hammer.

Unfortunately... it runs out. Just like a normal torch.

 

No, it doesn't. It just stacks when placed in follower's inventory. So I thought it runs out. Weirdly it unstacks when placed back in yours. But it bugs out follower animations permanently. I have now Erandur following me in bright day with his left hand outstretched as if he was holding it.

It respawns along with the whole house. You can have many torches. I wonder what would happen if you put it in a sconce on a wall.

not sure, they may only be scripted to take one kind of torch only.
