If you have an Intel 13/14th gen then add this to your launcher shortcut target field after what's already there.   (don't include the " " marks)

This is a permanent fix to Oodle crashes when loading shaders based on Intel's awful instruction set for Oodle.  Bypassing it and loading shaders without AVX2 causes no problems and no slowdowns in game.

Apologies - but do you have a link or some screenshots to show how to do this? I unfortunately am not super tech savvy.

Right click the shortcut you use to launch Marvel Rivals.  Then choose Properties.  If it's on your quick launch bar you'll need to right click the second icon above "unpin".

you'll see this:

 

 

Just make your Target field look like mine at the end, it's highlighted for ease of vision.    The first part will already be there. 

 

Add a space after .exe and then the  "--oodle_disable_avx2" portion without the " "s.

 

Once you launch the game again it should load shaders one last time and once completed should stop any oodle based crashing.

Could you tell me why, in some mods, the physics work during a match (for example, https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/5727 ), whilst in others the physics only work in the lobby ( https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/10113 )? Is this how it’s supposed to be, or have I done something wrong?

It depends on the mod really, some only have lobby while other have both, take a look ate the optional files maybe they will have it.
