Any mod that edits/overrides the defaultengine.ini will trigger this message the three common one to effect it are lod disabler, no screenshake, and no outline though no outline had a recent update so I'm not sure if it still triggers it

You have to reinstall all mods. It sometimes happens where the signature bypass is not detected and rivals recognizes gooner mods as configs. SUPER annoying but thats fixed it for me.

 

Edit: You have to reinstall ALL mods, not just the signature bypass.

This happened to me before.  I fixed it by moving my mods folder (in case it deletes it) and verified file integrity.

 

Moved the mods folder back and didn't get the warning any more.

Are you using a modloader?

Do you have disableUID on?

Are you using RemoveUID mod?  

The alternative is to go through and do mods one at at time.  I would recommend taking a real close look and any VFX or UI mod, remove, see if the game boots with just character and audio mods.

If it DOES, add the others back one at a time.  I suggest UI last. 

If it STILL Crashes after removing all VFX or UI mods then go through and remove all of them, launch the game.  If it works, add a chunk back, launch.  Those are safe if it launches, if it doesn't it's in that chunk.  If it doesn't crash add another chunk, rinse-and-repeat.

You'll find it.  Let us know if you do.   You may find that this type of warning is specific to either out-dated Tracker mods, or other wall-hack or stat tracking mod.

Rivals made it extremely clear they do not care about character model mods as they specifically check for them in the photo mode and just let you know to disable them for the photo mode.  So they know, it's confirmed they know, and they are fine with you using it just not on anything that may be used publicly like photo mode since it can be shared in-game.

Client side only visual mods seem to be A-OK.  Stat trackers are grey.  Wall-hack and other mods are explicitly banned and I believe why they added UTOC and other tools.  They see us using mods, but they only care about ones that ruin the game.  I love this.

no im not using remove UID. game lets me get into the main menu but then gives that alert. removed all VFX and UI mods. im scared to keep trying as i saw somebody get banned on nexus mods forum for 100 years...idk what to do. i also tried doing it one by one like you said and literally just tried to have the elsa maid mod from acha installed and it gave me the message.

If you remove the whole ~mods folder and boot the game does it still happen?   Move the folder out one level to like Marvel folder and see.

i had almost similar issue. i had mods that skipped into movies. you need to look for them in your folders, if you have these mods.

Here's what you can do, open the launcher, and in the launcher for the game, there's an option to clear all redundant files, whatever the game thinks that is foreign (UTOC/Skin Mods) from it's base files will be removed, open the game without the mods, and see if it's still giving you that warning, and if not, reinstall all of your mods from Acha or Jelly I am assuming and test it again to see if it gives you a warning, you probably installed something without your knowledge that affects the game other than the appearance of the characters.

Also, don't forget to reinstall UTOC Bybass again as it will get removed once you press the "Clear Redundant Files" option.
