calranthe Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Sorry if the wrong section, I am doing a mod but need someone who is willing to let me bother them on PM with questions relating to scripting. I don't want to just message people making mods because they are usually so busy doing there own thing I don't want to bother them. So just looking for volunteer or volunteers **NOTE** I am not the impatient type I don't mind waiting for replies to anything I ask.
Ashal Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Just post your questions here or in a specific question thread. That way if somebody else has a similar question the answer can benefit them to.
DeepBlueFrog Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Absolutely. I learned a lot about scripting from questions other people asked in the forum.
EternalDamned Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I have a question then Is it possible to make a scripted spell to start sex. I'm trying to simulate the effect of the old SA version where they would sneak cast the spell to start the sex. I loved that effect and want it tied in with SL_Arousal. I already have a script compiled. Simple one yes, but it should do. But I can't figure out how to make a spell that will work, and can't find any tutorials with more advanced than a teleport spell.
calranthe Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 Okay I am new to the syntax of papyrus but this is what I want to do My questions come in three parts to start with How do I syntax the following Draw values from Sexlab diary as in how many times a person has had sex Draw values from Sexlab arousal for how aroused a person is Draw values from Skyrim for how many people killed three values (A=B=C) = scale (this will be determine a simple whole value the scale of which and results will come later) I want to take those values and come up with a simple naughty scale, I will expand it to include stealing assaults all those type of stats used by the games but for now I want to keep it simple How do I syntax the following Timescale = amount of time within a cell be it a house/cave or area is there a value I can read If timescale <= 6 hours then stage 0 if timescale =>7 <=12 then stage 1 if timescale =>13 <=18 stage 2 if timescale =>19 then stage 3 And the following Stage 0 will contain messages telling the player something how do I create a message in the left hand upper corner not in a box. Thank you for any help given on this, I am someone who learns best by studying examples or seeing something in context.
calranthe Posted December 21, 2013 Author Posted December 21, 2013 Just to make it clear I am not asking anyone to write my script for me, my issue is with the above syntax how to do these specific things in papyrus and I am having a hard time finding specific examples. I think what I am asking is quite simple to me it looks like something I would have done in basic 30 years ago.
