Have to touch!" They don't actually touch me but what I want to know is if this is supposed to lead to something? Or is it just some sort of flavor?

Â Spoiler They won't touch you, but if you don't stop them, they will touch something, something shiny with pretty lights, something it's maybe better they don't touch... Spoiler If you talk to them they'll snap out of their trance, a bit confused about what they were doing, and go back to whatever they normally do. If you don't... (you can follow them, see where they are going...) Spoiler They will walk to and activate a nearby chain beast mine. Â Â Â

Â I really like the idea of a player being locked into the suit, but currently (AFAIK) you are only in it for the punishment duration before being dropped off without it.

Mostly yes Spoiler You can use most larger creatures as mounts, if you manage to kill them (loot a chain spider...). But that does not work with the small ones (including K9 type). The K9 one is implemented as an armor, so you could wear it (add with AddMenuItem or similar) and if you update the OAR condition for crawling to include wornhaskeyword (or whatever it's called in OAR) SCB_Crawler you'll also be crawling any time while wearing it. But it won't be `locked' on. (Current locking mechanism only works for the restraints, not the crawler/suit.)  Considered options for having them equipped longer, requiring the PC do something else to get free, but never came up with a satisfactory & feasible story line. (Dormant beasts; they're locked on but not currently active, may wake up, take the PC somewhere, but then lock back on, NPCs may react to it, ...) Â

Â the integration with Pahe is great. do i get how it works clearly? dropped a mine, some chain dogs go around, strip npcs, then the npcs crawl to some place where they are chained against the wall. is that it? i found 3 spells in the console: ride spider, summon chain beast and the mine spell. are there other spells? Â not sure I get where NPCs always crawl to, sometimes they just seem to patrol. I guess it would also break DD/ZAP for cases those you use full alternate animations and not just eg arm positions... Using an OAR based replacer for SM would offer even more options and make it possible to solve such conflicts. (By adjusting priorities if needed.) Really like the way the quest line is triggered and the world integration (not spoiling here )  Regarding SM, indeed I switched to OAR version and it works well together with CB.  Interactive bdsm: what i meant = when crawling npcs compete for the same spot to hang on the wall, the one waiting starts playing with the one on the wall, breaking its crawl animations. Again not a very big issue, jfyi  Regarding the quest line: it says i should get rid of the mines and beasts everywhere. Please dont spoil, but does the questline completely remove CB from the game? Are they no longer usable after destroying the mines?

Spoiler Ask Retching Netch Barkeep about work. I may have added them to some Solstheim random encounter lists (using the level setting of Mobile Prison beast) but not sure and seems those are not used as much as the ones in Skyrim. You can ride them with the `reanimate & ride' spell.  chain dragon Spoiler You'll need to unlock these in the quest sequence Spoiler Need to have chainbreaker; look at it's tempering requirements and then talk to the Lore master about it. After unlocking they can be encountered e.g. as result of traps (but rare).  You can ride them (but they will only walk, not fly, while mounted) with the reanimate&ride spell. Â

I am so glad I found it!  It really hits that perfect blend of sexy fun and adventure, and I'm really enjoying the challenge level!  One thing has me stumped so far... Spoiler In the "In Your Dreams" quest, I am stumped and would love a hint. I searched all the spider webs and freed myself and got the weapon.  I cut through the spider webs into the room with the spider, defeated him and then the mimic bedroll. Then I don't know what to do. I tried reanimating the spider, but that doesn't seem to accomplish anything.   Thank you for such a fun adventure! I particularly love how many different ways you put these wonderful devices to work. There's so much variety to it that it's easily kept my interest for days now! This is my issue: the game's sound settings for effects always reverts to max volume no matter how many times I change it. None of my other sound settings change, only the effects setting. This is one of only a couple of new mods I'm trying, not counting upgrades. I realize it's a long shot, but I'd really like to fix this problem. I am posting in a technical support forum as well. Thank you. Â I am enjoying the mod so far. Those mobile cage mammoths are worse than dragons! Good thing I have a lot of followers and pets!

What's the minimum recommended level to do the quest?  The beasts actually level a bit faster than the PC. Some beasts have a higher minimum level, but not the ones summoned by those mines. No minimum recommended level. Nearly all my testing is with low level chars (as often testing is best done on a new game...). While some tweaking of setting may be needed to get a reasonable difficulty at any level, at higher levels it likely needs a lot of tweaking. Lowering the max number of (extra) beasts may be advisable, or you may get huge mobs at higher levels. Lowering the byte strength (either base or increase or both), possibly setting a health penalty for small and medium beasts. (Getting the `aid' is advised if you've got a melee style character.) Spoiler Triggered by PC or a follower getting captured during this quest.   1

It's just odd that it's only the one setting that reverts to the default value on game load. I change it in game, the .ini updates, but that one change doesn't last on loading. I think I might have to stop running down the rabbit hole and figure out a workaround. Thanks again.
