Oh, but some of it is.  I'm right there in frustration.  I started my downloads yesterday.  Did a test this morning, everything went fine.  Started to get the files from the MO2 overwrite folder and hell I have missing masters.  Can't fin the Tarren update starfield master.  Google and ask questions and get corruption back as an answer and the standard trope it's your virus checker. So I Start from scratch rebuilding everything including Starfield.  So now I was sure I had every DLC. And damnit wouldn't you know it happened again.  So I found out what the name of the Tarren esm was; it's some letter and number thing.  Then I look on the MO2 plugin panel and there it was unchecked and nothing could see it.  4 hours wasted.  MO2 will uncheck it every time I run it.  Don't know how to fix it yet, got'ta get my load in and order right first.

 

So what was my fault; ignorance, I didn't know MO2 would do that.  I would suspect it's something similar on your side.  I think you could PM the MCF/SAF developer (he really stepped up and got some crap and accolades at the same time) and maybe the SNU SNU guy on Nexus and ease your way a bit. The guy that's making the new body look for Hater is another person I think you should contact.  He took Robert S and mad it better and is still trying to improver it.  Seriously, there is a group over there on Nexus that are working together on components.  They are beginning to make it right.

 

You got a conversation thing going in your mod I find immersive, use that knowledge as a swap of knowledge.  I'd really like to see this work.

I asked. Help was not helpful and was told it worked for author with Gergel as solution. Glad that author made something, not so glad it is broken for me.

 

Have now asked Gergel author and maybe will get script sample (no psc files included with that download, so cannot see scripting). 

 

I hope this mod works again also. But just another 4 hours banging head into desk over and over. 😔

Now 6 hours. Desk has head shaped dent. 

 

Made new test mod with copy/paste of SAF sample script and it make game break so badly that SAF no longer work even after all mod removed, all mod files deleted, non-modded game loaded, rested, saved. Then mods reloaded. 

 

Do not know why SAF break game itself, but happens. Can now say it happen not because of skeleton (tested both extended version) or animation (used animation from Gergel) or other part of Seduce (made new mod with new script). Just breaks game. It break game in way that is not stored in save (also breaks saves from before any mod installed), and not stored in script (can remove all script files, hard save, re copy script files). It break game in way I do not understand and can not fix. 

 

But somehow SAF only break game for some people and not others. Do not know why fuck it happen, but can not fix it.

 

Will put up version of Seduce that do not have tfc and tcl tomorrow. After that this mod is abandoned until something change. 😒

I must be one of the lucky ones.

 

My only small *problem* is that I don't use SAF Seduce in the spaceship or space station because everything goes black,

but apart from that, SAF Seduce works without any problems.

I uploaded test version (1.1) that have different way to toggle input (disable/enable player control function and not tfc/tcl).

 

I cannot test (since SAF will not work for me). Does this make problem with lights better?

The lighting issue has been resolved.

Another problem has arisen.

Step 1: OK.

Step 2 moves several meters
Step 3 relocate the step several meters again 😁

 

 

Edit:

The move of the stages/scenes is due to the TCL being set to *on*. I disabled it from the console, and the scenes no longer move. However, once finished, you have to switch it back to *on*, otherwise you'll fall through the floor.

And I just noticed that I can no longer equip my *dick/strapon*

Good sex should make you go through roof, not through floor. 😉

 

Uploaded 1.2 with tcl back in script (and removed 1.1 because there was also problem with sound folder names). 

 

Do 1.2 work?

I try this on a new install (just snusnu and gergel). I get this result:

 

Gergel seem to work 100% of time. 

Snusnu fail first time (get same stutter issue as with Seduce/Surrender), and after this happen, Gergel no longer works (now stutters).

Also, using console to tell SAF to start animation seem to almost never work even when Gergel works, so I was wrong to use that as test. 

 

This make me think one of these things (or both):

 

Gergel calls animation in different way from Seduce/Surrender (does not have psc, but I will ask and maybe author will send).

SAF do not work reliably on player 

When whatever goes wrong happen, it break SAF. 

 

Do not know when I will be able to fix this, but now there is thing I can look at rather than banging head into desk over and over and over.

 

 

 

 

I made a bug post on SnuSnu yesterday as I ran into another issue that could be part of the factor for Seduce too.  I ran into an issue where SnuSnu basically got stuck in limbo.  After further testing I realized the problem was the game was struggling to strip my gear in a timely manner.  This is admittedly with full legendary/exotic gear so probably not the most common example but basically the game struggles to calculate all of the effect changes from removing the spacesuit/helmet/pack which broke SnuSnu.  It would start removing the gear then stop and put it back on while SnuSnu was still initializing leaving it in a partially activated state.  So I wasn't stuck in an animation but talking to anybody would just trigger "SnuSnu" dialog without actually starting an animation.  Once the game broke in this manner, it would persist even when loading an older save and the game would hang when you try to quit.  So you basically have to kill the task then relaunch and load an older save.

 

I don't know why it didn't seem to be an issue before the last week but it's 100% repeatable right now for me.  If I initiate SnuSnu with all my gear on, it will break 100% of the time.  If I manually remove my spacesuit/helmet/pack first, it works 100% of the time.  Tested with a variety of NPC's in a variety of locations.  Outside of that SnuSnu has been 100% solid since the load order and other changes I made on the weekend.

@Jamm wrote nice system for making penis erect, but want to test if that is making issue so I put it behind conditional (can be enabled using Seduce terminal > stripping options, but off by default). Did that fix problem?

This is interesting. Might be problem here too. I think not only problem (I have SAF stutter bug even when I start SAF while naked). But good to know about this also.

While there is a noticable stall while Seduce performs the dressing/undressing, it doesn't seem to break it entirely like I'm seeing with SnuSnu.  Also, I can confirm that Seduce 1.2 does fix the lighting as long as you don't use TFC.  Using TFC immediately breaks the lighting again (testing on my ship and on the Den).  Not sure if this is expected or not but I'm guessing yes as the same thing happens with SnuSnu.

 

Also, it's probably not worth the effort, but personally I'd like to have a craftable console for the seduce settings rather than having to coc to the debug room so I can just put it on my ship like my other config consoles.

I still can't equip anything… In version 1.0, we had access to the inventory; I think that's why I could equip items.

In later versions, the inventory is no longer accessible.

I tried using the *stripping* option, but it doesn't change anything.

Sorry. I am confused. You are saying you cannot access player inventory anymore? Or is dialogue to access NPC inventory no longer works?

In version 1.0, I could access my inventory when the scene started, but not in later versions 

 

****I equip my *dick/strapon* with the key 9 at the start of the scene, and this worked with version 1.0, but now none of the keys from 1 to 9 equip favorites work during the scene.**** 😉

 

 However, I found a workaround to equip my *dick/strapon*. I made a bat file and I equip it with a *hotkey*. 😁

This happen to me also right now, because SAF do not work for many users and no one know why so it will not get fixed. 

 

You must test SAF first with console as said many times in previous posts. Thank you.

 

Edit: Sorry, this was rude thing to post. I am just very angry about Starfield modding because of other people who pooped in the pool and then left and because of all the duct tape holding together the adult mods right now. 

Totally fair response, I don't take any offense. In all fairness though, I don't use this platform super often so navigating it is extremely difficult and more often than not I miss important context on how to make something work. That said, I have been messing around with mods all week when I haven't been working and actually got this to work with 100% accuracy. I'm not quite sure what I did tbh but I am not going to complain lmao.

Ooooh. Yes, that probably do not work anymore because alternative to using tfc involves disable of player controls (otherwise actors move apart if you touch anything). 

 

Good to know about bat file working. I think user could still access inventory before scene and attach strapon before though I think?

I tried putting on the strapon before the scene, but it came off as unequip as the scene started.

 

 

The easiest solution for users of my mod *dick/Strapon* for *female* is to create a BAT file and use the *Starfield hotkey* mod to configure the key; this avoids having to open the console. 😊

This mod seems to be working perfectly for me with SAF v4.5, but the males remain flaccid even with the new option enabled in the debug terminal.

these mods are gods work. .. hope there will be some fix in the animation system or such  and Grey can come back

 

(as for me... I cant play Starfield at all atm.. the Starfield exe cant be found... dunno whats going on with Starfield T_T....)

I played pretty heavily all weekend and save for the stripping issue with all exotic gear and had zero issues with animations, Seduce or otherwise.  I don't feel like playing musical upgrades to see if it's a specific legendary trait or just the amount of traits, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly the latter.  Exotic uniform and pack lag slightly but don't break things.  Exotic everything breaks things.  100% repeatable in both cases.  

 

As I mentioned before I've seen other reports of that problem elsewhere and it's certainly not specific to your mods so as far a I'm concerned they're functioning as expected on an up to date Starfield+Mods install.

The animation issue seems to be at random, sometimes the mod works as intended upon loading into the game after relaunching it, other times it doesn't. Using photomode or tfc, does allow the animations to align properly and work regardless, but there's a caveat if you're trying to use those modes in space as it causes everything to go dark.

@Gray User Hey man hope you're able to sort the issues with SAF out. I'm trying to to create a basic dialogue-driven variant of the mod that doesn't require the pheromones :)

Just trying to work out how dialogue advances in Starfield. I've gotten up to including a basic interaction for companions and NPCs. At the moment my dialogue doesn't progress from the starting topic, but it's a start.
