I have been getting some really weird behavior from using the skse plugin. At first it was working right, but now after a while i am getting some really weird flashing artifact on my screen when just viewing my inventory.

I don't know why it is doing it since i never seen this before. I was scratching my head when this was happening since i was unsure what was causing this i first thought maybe something weird with my enb setting but that was not it, after fully searching my list and disabling safety load the artifact flashing went away.

It is happening in both 1.1 and 1.2

Open it's iNi (SKSE\Plugins\SafetyLoad.ini) and change

EnableOnlyLoading = false

to

EnableOnlyLoading = true

Might help, even tho i can't imagine why it should screw with your graphics.

i already tried that artifact still happens. And on nexus there are more and more reports about this. And every single one had safety load in there list.

So there is still some unexplained bugs with this plugin.

I've been getting artifacts too with safety load, but they are very rare and I'd rather have artifacts than crashes. :D One is in whiterun, near the eldergleam start going toward the main gate and in one of the gardens is a huge blue triangle, sometimes it changes color to something else too.

As i got absolutly no artifacts with this plugin active, i guess you guys use ENB with graphic modifications enabled.

The artifact appearing seem to be related directly from inventory crash from what i can make from it.

Something to consider when you decide to "adjust your paging file size":
You can Set the Same Initial and Maximum Paging File Size on your PC/system
Setting the paging file's initial size and maximum size to the same value increases efficiency because the operating system (OS) does
not need to expand the file during processing. Setting different values for initial and maximum size can contribute to disk fragmentation.
If you however have a "Solid State Drive" (SSD), disk fragmentation will not affect you in any way, you do not need to defrag your drive ever.
To stop your CPU from constantly changing the paging file, set the initial and maximum size to the same value.
For example, initial: 6096
and maximum size: 6096.

The value of your "Paging File Size" should be at least 1.5 times more than your physical RAM.
Example:
If your system has 2GB RAM -> The Paging File Size should be 3GB
If your system has 4GB RAM -> The Paging File Size should be 6GB
If your system has 8GB RAM -> The Paging File Size should be 12GB

Once you decide to change your "paging file size" be mindfull of your Skyrim.ini [Papyrus] settings:
[Papyrus]
iMinMemoryPageSize=256
iMaxMemoryPageSize=6096
NOTE: It is up to you to find the best paging file size that suits your PC/system best, the above is given as an "Example Only".

Hope this helps....

After making small changes to skyrim.ini and the pagesizefile the artifact disappeared and also the crash related to looking in your inventory, or menu.

I'll try that out -- lately and for some reason even after reducing and optimizing almost everything, the game is nearly unplayable.

Could you please elaborate on which changes to the skyrim.ini and pagesizefile you made? That link looked really helpful but it is waaaay over my head. These problems you solved with it sound exactly like what I'm having and I would very much like to try that.

Thanks ahead of time.

Oh so my constant crashing might not be due to sexlab aroused after all? Lately I can't play more than 30 minutes without crashing and most of the times it's when I click to load the fast travel map. Sometimes some weird triangles pop up in the map and then the game crashes as well.

Yeah Phoenix, that sounds like the graphical artifact thing folks have been talking about for Safety Load. I'm going to call my neighborhood techy and see what he has to input, then I'll try stuff out. I'll report back if it fixes for me. Wish me luck.

scroll down in your skyrim.ini till you see [papyrus]

now paste

[Papyrus]

iMinMemoryPageSize=

iMaxMemoryPageSize=

you have too check your memory in your pc. if you have 4 Gig of ram check change the pagesize too:

iMinMemoryPageSize=6096

iMaxMemoryPageSize=6096

you could also put it too:

1gig of memory is equivlant of 1024mb 1gig == 1024mb x 4 so your full memory should be 4096 mb ==4.096 gig times 1.5 == 6144

so put it to:

iMinMemoryPageSize=6144

iMaxMemoryPageSize=6144

the reason to make minaml the same as max is your harddrive will not constantly add more free to your system and you would get less choppiness.

you need to multiply your memory with 1.5 so 4 times 1.5 is 6 etc..

2 x 1.5 == 3 etc..
