I am seeing an issue when walking directionally to the side though. If I hold both forward and to the side' date=' I get a skating effect to the side rather than having the character turn in that direction like the standard animation.

This is still being worked on. Even the author of this Better Walk admitted he's trying to replicate the walk we all remember in Oblivion. Give it some time.

So yeah, walk animation look cool, but when you actually use it? All the time you just runn and sprint. Is there any hope we could see that type of animation?

Sure. I do it in smaller enclosed space in town. Running knocks over stuff in people's house and they get pissed. That and i hate stuff knocked all over the floor.Makes place look messy
