I tried to find the conflicting mods as advised, but it still seems the mod in a vacuum has the same problem.
 

I just did a reinstall of ZZMI (with XXMI-Launcher-Installer-Online-v1.9.2.msi), and tried testing these 2 mods.
The "Mods" folder is completely empty other than the ones testing, and there are still the same issues.


Did you use any fixes on the mods? If so, which one?
If it's possible, can you send me the mod you are using, just in case it works out?

ok.. so this is gonna be delayed again unfortunately.. which is both good+bad news.. bad that it's delayed, but good in regards to there will be even more content , Zetsu has persuaded me to add more textures NOT WINCEST.. so I'm taking a look at that now.. You can never please everyone, but this mod sure will try...

Guys, you really should consider releasing your updates in separate folders. This way, you can release the bulk of the content and when there's an update to a specific area, you just update that area's folder instead. Which to be fair, you already have all the folders in one big file. I'm just suggesting to take them out of the main big folder and release them as separate pieces. Then when finished, release a version that is merged. I mean that's just what I would do, IMO.

Most people don't even care about WINCEST just release it as is. The same people complaining about it turn a blind eye to the clear Lolicon activity in the forum

Tbf I totally agree... the Wincest is literally the mod.. and it's really toned down now that I've given everyone the option now for poster swaps (in bedrooms), not wincest., but I can also see that it's only a few more textures I need to tweak to REALLLLLY tone it down, just to make it more palatable for those who outright wouldn't use the mod otherwise..some things I literally will not change as it all just takes to damn long, things like the tv screens in the staff room will be still be Wincest, all the spare tapes on the shelves in there, all the books etc, as I just don't have the time to repaint allll those dds and come up with designs to suit everyone.. . what we are adding is ANOTHER toggle for the staff room with swaps for things like the posters in there.... we have already added a toggle for the big rug, so I'll put a few dakimakura of different agents on there as well.. We are also gonna look at releasing a LITE ver of the mod for those who don't want the huge file size that this will have.. it's going to be around 10gig (unpacked) I'd say when it's fully complete, So a LITE ver will be probs about half that size, maybe less.. but obviously you will only get about half, probs less, of all the new textures, only half the doors, only a few poster swaps upstairs ( rather than the 19 swaps in the main mod) .. only two Dakimakura benchs per agent rather than the 10 swaps currently JUST for Jufufu lol ... you get what I mean, a stripped down LITE ver...

 

I'm confident it will all release before this banner run ends....

 

just give a brother time...

Unfortunately, I tried as suggested (as well as the game options) but it still won't work. :(
One thing I couldn't try was the "Highlight Overflow" setting as it wasn't listed in the menu. I also couldn't figure out if there was an equivalent of it on my end. Is this perhaps something about the type of GPU?
If you could get back to me about this, I would be grateful, thanks!


Although it's just a hunch at best right now, I did run "Evelyn Blue FX" in the "Mods" folder without knowing any better, instead of the  "Shaderfixes" folder (which was probably the way to use it).
Maybe this could be a potential cause for the weirdness?

Another is that I recall using either "Move Agents in Menu" or "Agent Viewer" a while back (which I believe older versions used to use ShaderFixes stuff) and having issues with stutter/lag/weirdness when uninstalling, but that's should be resolved/unrelated as it was a while ago.
Which leads me to think some shader-related things are the problems.

But then the question becomes, "Why is it breaking even with a fresh reinstall?"
(unless somehow it wasn't a 100% clean reinstall?)


Sorry for the long message/info dump and jamming the thread everyone!
I really don't want to be too much of a nuisance with this, but would you happen to know some other things to try out?
Or even somewhere/someone else I could ask for help?

I think you should completely uninstall Zenless Zone Zero and ZZMI and make sure to completely delete/ clean the folder where ZZMI was stored (IMPORTANT). Then do a fresh install of Zenless Zone Zero, then ZZMI and only enable the mod.

I am having a issue with mods for the world textures on Linux I got a Character to work but nothing in town changes when I install something
