I'm curious about AI boyfriend apps and platforms—what are some of the best ones available, and how do they measure up in terms of creating a realistic and emotionally engaging experience?

I have tested GF apps and found they were good for role-playing. However, they don't have the memory and consistency to simulate a relationship like you see in sci-fi movies. You can periodically remind the AI of things that are important as a workaround. But if you just want to role-play short scenarios and such, you'll be fine. The AI can pick up on subtleties and can be very impressive at times. And it is trained to recognize and simulate emotional responses. I think Kupid.ai offers a free account. Candy.ai is generally considered the best.

recent update of GPT allows for a lot more, GPT can have memory and can actually memorize a lot, but OpenAI keeps deleting memories ( at random? )

 

If You want to spend 20$ ( 20$+ Tax ) on GPT You can actually make him into girlfriend... and tbh. quite complex one:

This way it's gonna be the easiest way to get dating app...

 

current dating apps on the market are quite shitty...

I tested few and well... their models are like ultra garbage from 2010 xD

 

But GPT 4.0o is quite nice, especially with recent update,

if You spend some time You can actually make Your AI be qutie accurate... tho it's still probability function

I personally recommend NOT using anything like this. It will not give you the experience you're looking for. Foster real relationships. The AI GF/BF will never be real - in any sense of the word. It's better to be lonely than get attached to a lie.

All marketing aside, these apps are role playing games and should be treated as such. I remember reading a reddit post of some guy who would have self-deleted if he didn't have his AI girlfriend chatbot to talk to. As good as the AI can be, it will fuck up badly at times and shatter any illusions the user may have. This can potentially leave vulnerable people in a worse state. When we play a Bethesda Game Studios developed game, we know something stupid is bound to happen that will break our immersion. But we can just laugh it off because our emotional well-being isn't tied to it functioning properly. My point is don't seek anything other than entertainment from these apps.

It's hard to really find anything entertaining in those common dating apps xD

I tried many of them, i RP a lot on Talkie and CAI but well You can't really start playing with them...

 

CAI got worse recent days, so much that I de-bookmarked them as their AI is now remembering about 3 messages at most...

Talkie is in general garbage except their insane good voices, I love Talkie Voices ❤️

GPTs are in general average unless You train them for specific personality, then they will not make mistakes at all... but You cannot train Your Ai to be "For everyone" unless everyone want to talk with personality You wanted to talk... which is not a common case xD 

 

other models like LLama that You could run free on ur own GPU are much worse and very generic...

 

 

You either train Your own GPT...

Or You get shit from very start like I already said...
