Yeah, Eupha is the closest thing Persona fans are going to get when it comes to romance. I guess this was their attempt at giving an MC a "canon" love interest. That being said I can still see them adding a romance option in an enhanced edition.

Nah bro, that's just people being little bitches. Magus also shows up at the 40 hour mark into the game in Chrono Trigger but he's in the manual booklet as a party member. 🤪

No, he isn't. Cast of Characters starts on page 6, No mention of Magus: https://www.retrogames.cz/manualy/SNES/Chrono_Trigger_-_SNES_-_Manual.pdf

I had to look this up, since I know Magus wasn’t mentioned in the Japanese manual, but I didn’t find him in the American one either. Maybe he’s listed in the European version or a later re-release, like on PS1 or DS—which would make sense, since by then everyone knew about Magus. But that’s the difference: years later, it’s no longer a spoiler, whereas dropping these details upfront for a first-time player of a new title just ruins the experience.

Just put screenshots in spoiler blocks, and mention if there are later game party members included in the screenshot.

Hulkenberg's fair game at this point, considering how early she is, and how much she's been discussed already. But all the other party members are enough of a "surprise" that people would probably prefer to not know ahead of time.

Yeah, I know it's not that hard to figure out in advance who all the party members are, but some players prefer to ignore any clues, and just let the game reveal it on it's own.

So by that logic is Eupha on the box art/steam art? Should we just spoil the final party member too?

Yes, all the party members are on the box art and they are all in the artbook as well. The artbook also has no spoiler warning like most do so clearly Atlus doesn't consider knowing who the party members are a major spoiler.

It's extremely rude to the mod makers, who haven't even paid for the mod.

Junah and Catherina heavily imply being attracted to the MC in the special talks you can do with them the night before the final boss. Gallica's rank 10 event also allows you to ask her to stay with you forever which she blushes at.

Then the epilogue has nothing romantic in it at all, even for Eupha. It's all very weird. Feels like it was part of the game then removed, to be honest.

huh... I'm looking at it right now and I do not see the last 2 party members anywhere on any of the packaging.

 

... and if you're expecting a spoiler warning on the COMPLETE artbook... dunno what to tell you.

 

Speaking of spoiler warnings... there's a simple spoiler tag ANYONE can use, it just takes a couple seconds so maybe someone starting the game won't have it ruined for them. I know that would mean you actually have to care about someone other than yourself and that's asking a lot of this forum... but apparently, I'm the rude one. I'm subbed to the patreon of these modders so no point in me being here anyway.
