The game can be played without mods.

Yet to come all the way to a mod posting site and call it a “spoiler” is ludicrous.

It's extremely rude to the mod makers, who haven't even paid for the mod.

If you don't like it, don't come here and make it yourself.

Respectfully, I think this conversation has gotten off track. No one here is upset with the modders or their work. The issue is with a comment made by someone else waiting for mods, which revealed details about a character that many players hadn’t yet encountered—not just their existence, but specific traits that others may have wanted to discover on their own. It’s fair to ask that, while waiting for mods, people avoid sharing details that could spoil the experience for others.

I sincerely appreciate your reasonable suggestion.

I have been creating and posting mods for other games, but I will refrain from posting mods for newly released games.

(Both creating and posting mods take a considerable amount of effort.)

_QEDのモッドはとても高く評価されており、心待ちにしている人が多いので、どうぞ遠慮なく新作ゲームにもモッドを投稿していただければと思います。その努力に心から感謝しており、引き続き応援しています。

huh... I'm looking at it right now and I do not see the last 2 party members anywhere on any of the packaging.

... and if you're expecting a spoiler warning on the COMPLETE artbook... dunno what to tell you.

Speaking of spoiler warnings... there's a simple spoiler tag ANYONE can use, it just takes a couple seconds so maybe someone starting the game won't have it ruined for them. I know that would mean you actually have to care about someone other than yourself and that's asking a lot of this forum... but apparently, I'm the rude one. I'm subbed to the patreon of these modders so no point in me being here anyway.

Look who's on the front cover. This is also the main artwork you see on Steam and yeah if an artbook that comes with the game contains spoilers they usually put a warning about looking at it before completing the game. Notice how the "complete" artbook doesn't contain late game areas or late game artwork because that would be an actual spoiler.

Well the final boss is also in the image, so I guess he's not a spoiler either. So in the last battle of the game you

Spoiler

PLEASE JUST USE SPOILER TAGS, THAT'S NOT ASKING TOO MUCH

sorry to everyone else, will ignore the rest after this one.... it's just ridiculous that so many people think showing some courtesy to other people in this thread is an unreasonable request.

You're right.

But the reality is that jmedia7 asked, 'Do party members count as spoilers?' and the mod users responded.

Mod makers shouldn't have to ask mod users who let them use their mods.

Those who don't want to see any spoilers should stay away. That way, mod makers don't have to worry about removing spoilers.

There needs to be a clear definition of a spoiler. If there was, there wouldn't be ridiculously large images of artbooks and packages being posted.

Good call. A clear definition for the forums would be a huge help.

Looking forward to Gallica nude mods specifically whenever they become available. Even if she's too small to see anything. She's my favorite and a naked fairy is wonderful.

Here here, I don't even much care about Hulkenberg, waiting on Gallica!!

How is it going to work ? Are you going to forbid modder to post screenshots of their mods because to you some characters are spoilers.

I think it is unreasonable, if some characters are spoiler for you and you want to absolutely avoid any information about the game, then refrain from going to modding sites, because we need to know what we are going to mod.

They're not saying to avoid posting any screenshots at all. Just put them in a spoiler block. All you have to do is click the picture of the eye when you're writing your post, and it makes one for you, like this:

Spoiler

And then you put your screenshots in here.

That's it. Then just mention "This is for the 2nd Female Party Member" or whatever outside the spoiler block.

It's good forum etiquette to put screenshots in spoiler blocks as it is; to prevent the thread being clogged with screenshots.

This is about modding characters that are on the cover of the game they aren’t some mysterious creatures that no one knows about. Modders should be able to post whatever they want. If you really care about spoilers, you should finish the game before snooping around in a modding thread.

Yes, they make the work of the modders more complicated

Is the modder also supposed to have played the game and remember in which order characters do appear in it ? What if the modders want to mod the game before playing it ?

I find this behavior ungrateful for those doing the work to bring us nice mods. I advise to ignore those people's unreasonable demands, if this thread bother them, they can avoid it until they finish the game

I do not endorse the practice of including extraneous information.

However, I strongly believe that it is a very arrogant request to caution mod makers to prevent ‘spoilers’ when criticising individuals who post posts that contain ‘spoilers’.

Moderators put a lot of energy into developing mods, and mod users must be aware of the fact that they are allowed to use mods.

If you come across a post that appears to contain spoilers, it is far more productive to add the user to your ignore list than to resort to accusations of spoilers. That way, the mod creators are spared the hassle of having to deal with it.

Remember that it is the mod user, not the mod creator, who should be aware of spoilers etc.

Just as it is your responsibility to install a mod, it is also your responsibility to avoid unnecessary information for yourself when obtaining information about a mod.

Okay I think our non-English speakers are getting confused.

First thing I don't need to worry about spoilers, I'm almost finished with the game. I think this is one of the best RPGs I've ever played and I'm just looking out for the people who might just be coming here just to find a Hulkenberg mod and get spoiled on a party member you don't even see until almost halfway through the game.

Go back and READ, nobody ever asked Mod Makers to put spoiler tags. I was responding to this thread from a random poster here (not a mod creator)

Jmedia7 then simply asked if party members are spoilers and the answer was yes. It was a simple yes or no question.

... and then a bunch of you are like "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT?!"

Does he seem upset? I've been subbed to his Patreon since P3 Reload came out... he's a cool guy. So cool in fact the preview he just posted has a spoiler tag on it.

So why is everyone getting so bent out of shape? You can be cool like Jmedia7 and use spoiler tags... or be a jerk and ruin the game for people.

Hoping for enhanced tits and asses without being nude haha

+1 to this.  We know nude mods are usually the first thing that appears- but I think tasteful teasing stuff is way more interesting.  If someone could provide hulkenbergs ass for instance- or if there's skirt wearing characters to give nopan too.  Stuff that is nude- but not all the time type.  I'm not sure how easy the engine is to mod but costume edits would be really nice.

Anyway- I am waiting for mods to even start playing and am not in any rush.  Just hope the modmakers don't get discouraged from whatever drama is happening here.  They deserve props for making things for us and not asking anything in return.  Modders are heroes keeping games fresh in the era of horrible politics.  I just want sexy characters again..

Sooo... to maybe not bloat the thread, we don't bicker over stupid things right? It's already been established- people are using spoiler tags (that's what they are here for).

If you want to waste a couple more pages on why you think that is wrong, save it for your blog.

Would it be all right to ask for advice regarding importing models into Blender? I'm using GFD Studio and I tried exporting it as a DAE file. I have the textures and the mesh and armature, but parts of the mesh aren't rigged to the armature. I'm not sure what step I'm missing that's making part of it rigged and part of it not.

Honestly, the game is so good it's a blast to play even without mods. A lot of games are just average so I'll only play with nude mods but this is definitely the best RPG I've played since FFIX/FFX.

it's funny everyone is saying that party member is a spoiler this and that and this and that, where Atlus literally put a fuckin massive spoiler in your game libary page in a form of Trading Card lmaoo, literally every single party member is there so if you just want to check what card you get you're fucked

Jokes aside, can't wait for the ass and titties mod to finally be finished, Hulkenberg 🤤

Agreed. I've never been big on nudity mods since they tend to break immersion for me. Like, in what universe do only the female members of your party go around unclothed without anyone reacting? Personally, that’s just not my thing, but I get that others enjoy it, and if they like it, I'm all for it. For me, though, it’s never really resonated. That’s why I lean toward subtle teasing, like some of _QED’s work in Persona 3.

Actually, the only JRPG where I like a nudity mod is 龍が如く 7 & 8 because it fits with Ichiban’s personality—he’s already a little wild. When a random battle starts, he imagines his party transforming, so they end up nude or in more revealing versions of their class outfits. I think of it as a nod to his background, growing up around Soapland culture. But when I switch to Kiryu, I turn the mods off, as immersion and continuity really are essential for me to enjoy a game.

In WRPGs, though, I prefer mods that add realism without going overboard, like an underwear replacement mod that lets characters or NPCs go without clothes if you remove the outfit. It just makes sense in those settings and adds to the immersion without being out of place.

Agreed. I much prefer immersive nude mods that actually make sense whether it's other characters reacting appropriately or the nude character has gone through a situation that explains why they're not wearing clothes. Otherwise, it just looks silly and unnatural to have one or more characters nude for no reason while no one acts like it's a big deal even though they would, it's an unusual sight to behold.

JRPGs are typically text-heavy so edits to the dialogue could help mitigate this as having other characters reference the nudity can maintain the immersion of your character being unusually naked in-universe. I recall there's something like this for Persona 5, and I've been working on dialogue mods for Pokemon games for this reason.

Maybe something like that could exist for this game.
