The game looks fantastic, and I’m sure it’ll look even better once the modding community works its magic. For me, it’s not about something trivial like focusing on a digital character’s appearance. It’s more about the principle—being told I can’t, as if something so insignificant needs censorship. Why? Who is it really for? But it’s fine. You’re playing it now, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. I’ll get to it later, and I’m sure I’ll have just as much fun when the time comes.
 

Plus, this year has been packed with great games. I’m a bit behind myself—still working through Persona 3 Reload, and I’m taking my time. By the time I naturally get around to this one, the mods will probably be in full swing.

I mean did they censor the game? There are no romance options in the game, your links aren't meant to be seen in a sexual or romantic way... that was never the intention. We have that one early build picture of Hulkenburg being slimmer and more feminine.... but she's the tank of your party, it actually makes sense for her to be more boxy but short of being a muscle mommy. Was them changing the color of Strohl's shirt from that picture censorship? They worked on this game for 8 years, a lot can change in that time.

 

Hashino has never been the type to censor his games... you were a teenager dating women in their 30's in Persona 5... you could have a relationship with a trans woman in Catherine Full Body. ATLUS did change the lady on the beach in Persona 3 Reload... but that was a totally different team.

 

I'd be more worried about spoilers... because midway through the game it's pretty clear things are going to change in a drastic way that's meant to surprise you

Yea I'm on the team wait, the game is solid I know. However why be in a rush when the modding community will make it even better. After all, having eye candy around while enjoying a great story is only a plus. Don't believe me, just look at Tifa 🤤

There's no romance in the game as it doesn't fit the story ie this isn't 'school daze' where you're a teenager out to experience love for the first time or what not. You're someone of questionable origin, out to save a kingdom. Romance is usually the absolute last thing on anyone's mind in a scenario like this and if it is in there, it'll very often be shoehorned in and poorly integrated. 

 

Nah, this game doesn't need it. Follower bonds this time ends at simply being truly grateful to the protagonist and truly supportive of his cause, that's it. Given that the party/team is truly a mixed diverse bag from very literally all over the place this time, yeah... romance would feel hella out of place.

 

The only 'censorship'.... and they will die before they admit it.... is making 'censored' the default even for JP. This means Gallica's completely covered up except for bare legs... no ass, no crotch... elf booty got made into an airport runway, etc... All this is at least eventually fixable with mods.

 

The game definitely does have its fair share of issues... as 'first release' Persona'esque titles tend to have. All my gripes are completely centered around the Archetype system and its balancing... But at least that's nothing to do with woke cancer.

No, este juego no lo necesita. Los vínculos entre seguidores esta vez se reducen simplemente a estar verdaderamente agradecidos con el protagonista y verdaderamente apoyar su causa, eso es todo. Dado que el grupo/equipo es realmente una mezcla diversa de personas de literalmente todos lados esta vez, sí... el romance se sentiría totalmente fuera de lugar.

 

La única "censura"... y morirán antes de admitirlo... es hacer que "censurado" sea la opción predeterminada incluso para JP. Esto significa que Gallica está completamente cubierta excepto por las piernas desnudas... sin trasero, sin entrepierna... el trasero de elfo se convirtió en una pista de aeropuerto, etc... Todo esto es al menos eventualmente solucionable con modificaciones.

 

El juego definitivamente tiene su cuota de problemas... como suelen tener los títulos tipo Persona que se lanzan por primera vez. Todas mis quejas se centran completamente en el sistema de arquetipos y su equilibrio... Pero al menos eso no tiene nada que ver con el cáncer de los progresistas.

At least Galica is barefoot when we are not in battle and it is something that I am very grateful for in the game, although I do not know if it is censorship that they put shoes on her knight's suit when they could have left her barefoot as well.

Nah the game is cringe. I literally got cringed out multiple times playing it. The turn based combat isn't better than P5R or SMTV either.

 

But I guess more people will have access to this game given now it's *free*.

Has anyone seen updates on just the ability to actually extract the models into Blender as a start? Someone on DA uploaded Louis so it seems possible but I haven't been able to find anything when searching in regards to grabbing the models themselves.

You can extract the models just fine but tools for importing and other stuff are still being worked on.

This is the only one really worth getting. And you get the Etrian BGM as well and their OST is always goated. All the other dlc have void under the girls' skirts. At least that is the case in For all of Hulk's dlc costumes. But you can always get the dlc "in other ways".

This is a good question. I've seen other characters, haven't been censored. That's odd. Perhaps the design of the character was intentional.

Intentional as in censoring her, yes. There are datamined screenshots of an early build of the game where she still had her ass. My guess is that the "postergirl" of the game was not allowed to have a juicy butt in those tightpants.
