Grecia300 Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 (edited) I am not sure if this is the right place, but this seemed the best place.... Recently I posted a request for a mod that allowed mod added followers to wander around the worldspace, and at the time I didnt know what I was really asking about, like most users. But then I decided to make it myself when all searching left me empty handed. However, I also have to realize I am way over my head, and need a lot of guidance to help this incredibly immersive but complex idea happen. Lemme be clear - I just want advice and guidance, I dont need anyone to test my mod atm or do any technical stuff on my behalf. I will happily do all the work. I am just posting so people in here can give me the direction to make my mod a reality, and maybe not fuck it up. Now to explain my idea in more detail - The mod should behave and operate like Captive Followers where ingame cells (like inns and such) is automatically scanned, but instead of being restrained the followers are then given an AI package that tells them to wander from point A to point B. Probably via an alias, and definitely removed upon activating the follower to recruit them. I want to setup the followers to be randomly given an AI package upon game start, and then every time a previous AI package is completed, until you find them out in the wilds to recruit them. So from Solitude to Dawnstar, and from Dawnstar to Riverwood, and so forth. I want to also implement a blacklist feature and an MCM to allow everybody to track where the followers are currently. I am well aware all this is a huge undertaking even for a seasoned modder, but thats why I am asking for help. I've never tinkered with any quests or AI packages before. Right now I have 20 quests and AI packages (locations the followers can go to) in a very bare bones state atm, and not a lot else. I am already lost. Anybody feel like helping a fella out...?
