Ikuk Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Hello people. I'm having problems setting up FNIS for my new modlis. I'm building in Ascencio modlist. I've been modding skyrim from the start of this year and never had this problem with FNIS. The way I installed FNIS was the same way that it worked another 50 times before and it's the same way ppl tell in their post or yb, installing it on mo2, dropping it, set data as director, then add executable and run it from MO2. Any ideias?

And how have you managed to get it wrong on the 51st go? People here neither know nor care about the Ascencio modlist. 1

travelmedic Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 If you're using a mod list, you really need to be going to the mod list support page and asking there. Lists or packs are generally not well liked on LL. That being said, there's one thing that jumped out at me: Your install path for FNIS is: F/Ascencio/mods/FNIS If you look at the orange FNIS window, it shows a file path of F/Ascencio/stock game Figure that out
travelmedic Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Also, while I play on LE and not SE/AE, I don't think your skeleton should have 99 bones if you've got XPMSE, or it's SE/AE equivalent.
Kastagir Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 (edited) Re-type your post using full sentences and proper punctuation if you truly want help. I can't understand half of what you're writing. Read the FNIS warnings. Then watch this youtube video. The modlist you are using appears to have added too many animations. You need to make sure you have a FNIS XXL or XXXL patch to allow it to work with that many animations. If that presents a problem with the modlist, post on the modlist author's website. This is not the place to receive modlist support. Edited September 4, 2024 by Kastagir

I don't recall if it's discussed in GamerPoets (rather old) install video, or on the FNIS description page on Nexus, but the info is somewhere mainstream, pretty sure.
