Does sexlab break TBBP?

Only a few Sexlab Animations use TBBP. So no. There is no "getting it to work" involved with TBBP. You use a TBBP Body with TBBP animations and you see the movement.

Though I'm going to assume that you don't understand what TBBP is. It's a specific weight painting done to a body. It's focused on the Breasts and Butt. Animations can be created supporting movement in those areas.

With HDT they move regardless/independent of animation, but that's something different.

TBBP and BBP for that matter rely on three things to work:

1) A skeleton that supports it ( eg XP32 )

2) A mesh that supports the aforementioned skeleton.

3) An animation that makes use of those specific bones in the skeleton.

Without a skeleton that has those particular bones in it, no TBBP / BBP. If the skeleton is there but your mesh is missing those Havok nodes to support those bones, no TBBP / BBP.

Lastly, if the animator does nothing with those bones during the creation of the animation, no TB BP / BBP.

Some of the older animations were done prior to the skeletons availability that support it, thus some of the animations have it and some do not.

I completely get how it is supposed to work. The problem is it stopped, and when I go through the steps to "reinstall" it, it still does not work.

when you run fnis, do you check gender specific animations? If I recall correctly dragonfly puts its files in ../female so only women use them.

Edit: when you say 'broken' I'm assuming that you mean women use the default skyrim walk.

There are several things that could be wrong, but none of them have anything to do with sexlab.

For one, you could have forgotten to run the FNIS for users thingie after reinstalling. If you use bodyslide, you could have forgotten to build the correct meshes. You could be using an armour/clothing that does not support TBBP, or not replaced the meshes to ones that do, though I'd assume you've checked if it works when naked. If the dragonfly animations aren't showing up at all, though, then it's more likely you've either replaced those animations with something else....or you have PCEA installed, and it's doing something weird, like it has a tendency to do, or you haven't checked for it in FNIS.

I'd suggest disabling PCEA and rebuilding FNIS, if you have PCEA, that's most likely it.

I do have PCEA. I'm not saying it is necessarily sexlab, but when I ran FNIS after installing SL and a bunch of plugins, my animation count definitely jumped by thousands. I assume something went wrong there. I will try this stuff. Thanks.

Disabling PCEA, reinstalling FNIS then TBBP BBB and running FNIS for users seemed to do the trick. I'm wondering how other mods that were installed with PCEA options selected will be affected. I may try to reinstall PCEA and rebuild FNIS again. It's always something, I swear.

Yay, nailed it \o/

I just gave up on using PCEA, personally, when I had a similar problem. I don't really care if female NPCs can walk like actual women, and that wasn't far from all the difference for me :P

I gave up on PCEA a long time ago, yeah, it's a very nice thing to have, seperating yourself from the masses in the skyrim world,  but the problem is it is incompatible with too many things, not only with sexlab, I've also run into problems with companion Selene kate mod(CTD right after you start the dance) and private needs(random CTDs), basically any mod that has its own animation will likely be problematic with PCEA, in the end it's not really worth it.

To clarify, the TBBP animation of Dragonfly with butt bounce is broken. The walk is broken and the PC idle is broken.

Can't be SL breaking it. I am using it myself and it's working perfectly, as are the SL mods (with all the newest mods/updates).

Did you overwrite something perhaps?

On the Nexus I found a mod called "feminine females", or something to that extent, that takes the man-walk away from all female NPCs. And it doesn't seem to interfere with anything else at all. Now even the town guards have a sexy idle.

Uhm, yeah, that's the point. That's what all the female animation things do normally. The problem is PCEA, which makes it so you can have animations work for your character only, so you feel all special.
