"I just did something similar on a different mod that had an unvoiced NPC. Here's what I did to get them a "vanilla" voice.

    Open mod in SSEEdit and change npc voicetype to vanilla voice.
    Run dialogue export script.
    Generate lines.
    Revert voicetype to original.
    Rename folder containing fuz files to original voicetype"

With your instructions, they are now indeed voiced (I used MaleBandit)! Important note: about 90 other NPCs seem to use this voice type. According to their description in SSEEdit, most of them are males and a few females, but it is not clear whether they have dialogue or not. for info the RX 470 has 4GB VRAM normally and xVASynth needs a minimum of 2 GB Vram... but I understand that you no longer want to do a pack after losing your GPU and thank you for all the paks you have done 😉

Ah, that sucks loosing the GPU. Sorry to hear that. As the prices for GPUs nowadays are that high, I have only been purchasing GPUs second hand the last few years. So far I have been lucky and they haven't died on me (yet)...

This is true but it will take way way longer to generate voicing with only 4GB VRAM, particularly compared to the 24GB I had with my 3090. Also I think xVASynth only supports GPU processing if your GPU has CUDA cores so I might not even be able to use the 470.

Buying second hand isn't a bad idea, I might look into it. I don't mind buying a new GPU but I'm planning on buying a house next year so would rather put my money towards that. If I didn't have my 470 I'd be more likely to buy a new GPU sooner.

Hello when you wil be back i think cum swallow begging might requires an update cause it seems to not function in my game with current version of cum swallow begging.

 

I understand that you can not fix it right now i am just leaving this message so you have some kind of data when you will come back ;)

Hello,

 

Could i know what version of xVASynthDialogueExport.pas you are using and with what parameters?
I create French voice packs and it works well for extracting lines of dialogue for animal mansion plus,coldhaven,babo dialogue and approach and lot of others but i can't get all the lines for slsffamecomments.
I have around 2500 lines per actor and it's not the same number for all the actors. I see that you are almost at 6000 in your pack.
What am i missing to solve this problem?

Ps: I also have an RTX3090, is it the dialog pack generation that burned your card?
I don't feel like my graphics card is getting very hot; i only do 4 lines at a time in batch mode.

I doubt it, I don't think voice generation is too hard on the GPU. I've trained ML models, mined crypto and some blender stuff with my 3090 all of which can be hard on a GPU. I don't think it was any one of these that killed my GPU as my GPU temps never got ridiculously high. I even put heatsinks on the backplate and a fan on top where the VRAM is as the 3090 has VRAM under the backplate which gets no cooling. I assume I just got unlucky with my card. Shit happens.

I tried with your script (i had this one too).
It's always the same )= it gives me less than 3000 lines for each actor for version 3.65 of slsffamecomments.
I use sseedit and apply the script on the esp plugins.
Should i check the box (include scripts from subdirectories)?
It works well for the rest, i didn't notice that any lines were missing but not for this esp.
Perhaps you use a program other than sseedit?

 

I'm sorry about your card, mining isn't very good for cards from what i've seen on the internet, maybe it's just bad luck too )=

I'm not sure why you're getting less than 3000 lines per voice. I just ran the script through v3.65 and got almost double that as expected. I used the exact same script I attached above.

Don't think this will help, I think this will just show scripts that are below the "Edit Scripts" directory.

I investigated my problem a little more and the txt file in the cache folder contains the right number of lines but the csv file which is generated is missing a lot of lines which are in the txt file.
I don't understand why.
If you can still use sseedit and if you have some time to spare to me, could you try applying the script to my translated esp and send me the generated csv file? Maybe you will have better luck than me.

Have you tried deleting the cache file and running the script again?

I spent over three hours trying various things including clearing the cache but without any results.
This is the only esp that is malfunctioning.
I wonder what is going wrong in my installation...

Hi! Could you please consider updating practical defeat since the esp version is no longer avaliable and this is the verion only avaliable for now. Thanks!

Adventure of Balazar has an update. Can someone update the voice pack if someone is tech savvy enough can you provide me with xvasynth compatabile csv for the update I will generate it.

Troubles of Heroine CSV is all dialogue in the mod. There's a fixed english patch for 2.8.2 that probably needs to be updated but I didn't use this when generating the CSV. If you think that this is wrong let me know and I'll recreate the CSV with the 2.8.2 english patch.

Nah this is better. I also wanted vanilla non-true english patch as DBVO often breaks with it. Thanks I will let pc crunch these in 2-3 days we will have working voice packs. Of course I will share with you. You update the google drive version

I have talked with 51offthescale he/she will update his google drive with this new packs the links are temporary and will be active for only 10 days or so
