You can get to Mt.Silver from the entrance to Victory Road.

The NPC is in Vermilion on the Pier leading to SS.Anne.

The way to progress after the 3rd gym is going through the route to the right from the town with the 2nd gym. there should be a cave by the end of the Route which will need the Flash HM to go through more easily, since the cave is very dark. It is possible to go through without flash but its much harder to navigate since you see a lot less of the cave. Once you are past the cave you will reach Lavender Town,  go to the exit to the left of Lavender Town to get to the route with the tunnel leading to the 4th gym town.

In the brothel there should be the NPC who was usually in the gyms up until now, talk to him and he will give you the key. I will say that capturing Erika and getting her badge will not allow much more progress because you will need the Silph Scope to go up the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town to gain access to the areas that were blocked off by the sleeping Snorlaxes.

We definitely need more of these hacks in that area, we don't have a lot at the moment, But I doubt it will happen, not many people like making gba hacks lol.

Hey finally found this forum, Funny how its on a site thats mostly known for lewd Skyrim mods lol.

 

Loved the game with a few very minor nitpicks, it was so good Im about to start a new game, on Kanto of all places (tired of playing in Kanto) and just here to say Great Job on this one and Good Luck on the new one (after you scrapped the Unova setting)

 

btw the nitpicks was, Why did Rosa, Hilda and Dawn not have an Evo?

They just didn't, I just didn't had anything to give them. Dawn and Rosa will have something in the new one, since Rosa was the main focus in the Unova setting and Dawn is the focus in the new version. Still don't know what to do with Hilda though.

You can always just make her "Bigger", just like the starter trio in the original when they evolve, I mean May goes from Big to AWOOGA BIG.

How about making Rosa the 'Eevee' of the ferals based on her PokeStar outfits? I mean, she's already Normal-type, though.

Just a suggestion but you could try doing something inspired by one of Hilda's alts from the game pokemon masters kind of like how May's evolution was based on her contest outfit. Hilda has some alternate outfits in that game for example like this one:
