Why is the creator of UI Cheats so reluctant to look at his own mod?

Apparently after the game updated recently it broke his mod. I can't click on sims and edit their age progress, for example, and when I try to close the game I can't, I have to force quit. There are numerous other posts on his Patreon page that are reporting issues similar to the one I am getting, but he just blames other mods. In my case, I have T-mex's enhanced exception mod installed, and even that is pointing to UI Cheats as being an issue.

Is anyone else having problems with UI Cheats?

EDIT: Changed Reddit to Patreon, wups...

You did update already, right?  I have the game update, but not the EP.  Working fine.

Yeah, I updated. What's odd is it seemed to be working fine a couple of days ago.

No matter what, I keep getting an error message from T-mex's Better Exceptions that point to UI Cheats as the problem. Maybe it's an incompatibility with the EP, because I have that as well. If you don't have the EP, and the mod is running fine, then that's the only thing I can think of.

Same here. No issues on my end after updating all my mods and game version. @Z0mBieP00NaniAre there any other mods in your folder that affect the UI? Maybe try installing the mod again? Or just asking weerbesu directly?

You mean reinstalling on a clean save?

No, just delete the mod from your folder and reinstall it from a new download. Sometimes I’ll download something and an error will occur during the process. You could try it on a fresh save just to see if that changes anything, though.

Yup, that seems to have fixed it. Weird...
