Modify Sim in CUS don't work!

Hi there!

After the last update of The Sims 4, when i try to modify my sim in cus, is not working! The game gets stuck on loading screen!

I just update MCC already...

Can someone help pls?

Same thing for me. I checked MCC. I am checking Little Sam. The bug doesn't come from WW.

than you have an outdated mod 🤷‍♂️
maybe it's "ui cheat extension" maybe it's "more cas columns"

 

update all your mods and try again.

if not, remove all mods. put them back in one by one and test the game between every step until it breaks and you have found your bad mod

If you have the More Columns in CAS mod, remove it. Even the updated version is causing issues for some reason.

 

If you don't have that, make sure all your other mods are updated. UI Cheats and MCCC are the most likely culprits outside of more columns.

Some mods of "Vicky Sims (chingyu1023)" such as: Sims Qualities,Age Group Custom Preferences,Instant CAS Story Preferences and others, Require (Zerbu's The Custom Preferences Mod) for the preference sets to work causing infinite loading in CAS.

I have found the problem as far as I am concerned : sliders ! Either vibrantpixels sliders or Supernatural slider. Still checking. But it works without them.

Same Problem here. Sorry for my English, i know it's a bad dream but i want to try it. 

 

Actually i got a corrupted saved-Game. I can load my Game but i cant load all Households. Some of them works, some not. First i try to remove all "Script"-Mods. Nothing changed. So i turned off ALL Script-Mods and Custom Content and the Familys/Households loaded. 

 

The Game, my Game say to me, with a big smile: Look, my Fried any loaded Paints,Hair,Top,Dress,Belt or other thing is corrupted and need to be removed. 

 

And i got 5800 Files. <------------------------- !!!!!!!!!!

 

So i think we got 3 choices:

 

1.: Hope for a miracle/pray to god for one..

2.: Delete.. mhmm.. 10 Files in a row, start, check and if nothing changed re-remove the Files. (Also from the Folder to Paperbasket and back)

3.: Delete all the Files in the folder and get, step by step and day by day all the old Files back.

 

I hope for choice 1 but i think i need one or two nights to found and fix the Problem. I dont want to start to fix it. It a loooooong Progress ^^

Any mod that has likes/dislikes in will cause infinte loading scren upon entering CAS from the game world. Including WW.

 

You can enter CAS via new game only.

The 6-column version seems to be working just fine.

I tried updating the mods and checking one by one... nothing... I think I'll have to create a new save 🥺

Edit: even with a new save, the problem persists... 🥺

I know you said you checked with mods, but do you have all of your mods up to date? I'm talking more about the smaller mods that help other mods like XML Injector and things of that nature, because sometimes we forget those things. If you have an LE that would also be very helpful, but I'm not sure if that will cause the game to throw one or not.

@RUASim21 Yes, all mod, XmlInjector_Script_v4 is update too. I don't think i have LE... 🫥

Since you have removed your mods and added them all back in and none are the cause, maybe do the same with your CC. When you start putting them back in one by one, start with any skins, body parts, or anything other than clothing, since we know the new EA lashes were an issue at one point. If its not the mods, its got to be a piece of CC and EA is not done patching either. That being said, make absolutely sure your mods are up to date because EA has released A LOT of patches this time.

Remove ALL of your mods, try the game and see if CAS works. If not, then something is wrong with your game (might wanna run a repair or even uninstall/reinstall it). If it does work, then you have an outdated mod.

I'm having the same problem.  Was fine a couple days ago then BAM no CAS.

I don't know if you've figured it out yet or not, but the only thing the UI exception mentions are traits. Pull out any mod that allows custom traits in CAS and check individually. EA did patch the game again Friday, and there were some mods that were broken for a second or third time, so make sure you keep checking for updates as you update the game.
