Having issues with the bodies.

I just came back to Skyrim after a long hiatus and for the first time I have been having problems with the bodies.  For the males I am using 'The True Gentleman' body for the first time along with 'HIMBO' and when I am in game my characters body is thin.  not anything like the preset I chose.  For the ladies I use the BHUNP body which I have always used along with the BnP Female Skin another mod I've always used.  But when I enter the game she is not nude she is wearing the vanilla underwear.  When I entered bodyslide and checked the preview of the bodies the model is a solid white meaning no texture.  I am using Vortex which I have always used for both Skyrim and FO4 if that matters.  Has anyone ever had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

 

Also when the male body is disrobed the character is nude just thin and not anything like the body preset I chose for him.

Okay did some more troubleshooting and uninstalled both HIMBO and The New Gentleman mods and installed the tried and true SOS mod, and now my character does not look like an alien.  I am still having trouble with the females though they still using the vanilla underwear and textures.

Install a body type like CBBE-3BA or BHUNP (or UBE if you are willing to have fewer armor options), then build the female body in Bodyslide,  using the "Amazing body" for the Body/outfit selection and a suitable preset. 

 

By suitable I mean that if you chose to install a BHUNP body, you need to use a BHUNP preset, CBBE-3BA requires a CBBE-3BA preset, and so forth (presets and body types need to match in source type kapiche?)

 

to make life easy(er) I'd recommend installing a CBBE-3BA body, as Bodyslide is by default going to use CBBE texture sets.

 

Of course, you'll also want to build their hands and feet by the same rules

 

NO matter which you use, I'd recommend resaving that body type with a mnemonic name so it can easily be remembered/referred to when it comes time later to build  armor or clothing or whatever to fit it.

 

Also, prior to actually hitting the BUILD button, I'd recommend checking the "Build Morphs" checkbox so that racemenu support files are generated during the build operaiton.

thanks for the reply but I did all that and am using a bodyslide preset from nexus.  I reinstalled BHUNP thinking I accidentally clicked the nevernude option, but no I still have the same problem.  It's like if the body mesh or textures are not where they belong.  I will continue looking into it.  Never had a problem with BHUNP, BnP, and Vortex.  Has there been any problems with the latest update.  Oh and I forgot I am using the GOG version cause it let's me rollback to a previous version if I accidentally update my game.

Given that you have been away from SKyrim for a period would not the sensible thing be to watch a couple of BS vids to make sure you are not missing a step or two?

Thanks for the reply but I figured it out.  What happened was that Bodyslide generating the mesh files outside of the Data folder.  It was putting the meshes in a meshes folder in the root folder that contains the Skyrim.exe.  I simply moved the folder into the Data folder and now my females are nude when disrobed.  Thank you all for the replies and help.  Also to avoid this from happening again I manually setup the output folder.
