some .ini settings questions

Is there a way to disable my character and NPC characters fading from visibility when the camera is too close? From some angles (especially indoors) when the camera is close the character fades to increase visibility of the area. I want to either decrease the range or disable this feature entirely. I've been trying to get some cool screenshots but the characters vanish when the camera is too close. I also think its interacting with other mods and causing visual glitches in certain scenarios.

On the other side of things, how do i increase the distance at which NPCs visibly spawn? Not the world itself necessarily, just NPCs. They spawn a little too close and its causing some immersion break. I tried upping the graphical settings generally and while everything looks better and performance is fine, this issue seems unchanged.

Display tweaks have the corresponding option for fading. Not sure if its available on LE thou.

Is display tweaks a mod? I'm not looking for a mod or a tool. I want to try to accomplish this with the .ini files specifically. If it can't be done it can't be done. But at least for the second question I suspect it can be done, because in my last install the NPC load distance was better.

It is SKSE plugin. No esp file, does not take load order slot. And it has an .ini files that allows tweaking/removing fading characters when camera is close. Not sure if it can do general draw distance.

I'll look into whether it works for LE then. I wonder if it could help with other graphical issues I sometimes experience.

It's a DLL, of course it won't work unless you find one made for LE.

But you can also accomplish this via regular plugins (aka an ESP editing a couple of Collision layer records). I guess you'd have an easier time trying to use such a mod for LE than getting Display Tweaks to work in LE. The mods are called No camera collision, or no collision camera. So not hard to find, at least in SE.

I'm getting the impression that there's no ini tweak i can do. Or if there is, nobody seems to be mentioning it.
