What is your Dream Fallout Mod?

Skyrim had this, I think Oblivion did it too now it's Fallout's turn! :)

If it could happen, what Fallout mod would you dream of happening? I'll start it off.

My dream Fallout mod would be this: A Mental Health Bar.

What it would do would be this: As you travel across the Mojave desert your mental state would change depending on your characters statistics. IE: Health, water/food supply levels, condition of limbs, energy even companions. If intergraded into Sexout your mental state could be used to break your characters will and turn into a slave/sex slave. Very similar to your will power in User29's willpower with the super mutant episode. Used in Hardcore mode this would be very important to your character's attributes. Your AP gauge will suffer, survival skills will falter, accuracy will wain, and vision will blur (Like head shots). If your mental bar hits critical levels depending on the situation at the time various circumstances will happen:

1. Beat into submission: If your health reaches critical levels you will be striped of all weapons then the victor(s) will decide your fate. Death, Rape, or Slavery. Death is obvious. Rape they will rape your character then take EVERYTHING from you and leave you where you lie. You will black out and come to a few hours later. You can recover your gear from merchants. Ask them where they got your items that were sold to them and the merchant will give you a general destination of where they went. Slavery is very similar to the Msex fort with a few twists. The master(s) will travel from place to place given the area you were caught in and you will be forced to be a pack mule. Legion members can buy you for slavery, NCR troops can save you escort you to a medic camp and get patched up (If they like you. :)) if not you can pick up where you were rescued. If the victor(s) reach one of their main camps (example) jackal raiders have a hideout near Nipton in the hills. You will then be broken into a sex toy to be played with. You can escape but if completely broken you will become a sex toy to live for one thing. (To be continued further down)

2. Animals: two things can happen here. Killed and eaten or used then tossed aside.

This part is optional but would be amazing if made. It's combined with the Beat into submission portion listed above. I know I am asking for the moon but hey its a what if/dream mod forum so why not. ;)

If your characters will is broken and turned into a slave/sex slave the game will end but a save will be made. When you make a new game/new character a option will be available similar to new game plus. A popular concept to games these days. If you enter the area where your previous character was enslaved you can rescue him/her! They will be broken at first begging for sex but if you take the time you can mend their mind they will turn into a basic companion and help you. Or you can leave them as a sex slave! :D

Well I got the ball rolling. Lets see those dream mods!

My dream mod is pretty basic but it has never been done to my satisfaction.  “Warlord of the Wasteland” would allow the player to clear out one of several vanilla locations and claim it as his own.  Once it was cleared of all foes he would then be able to repair some machinery and terminals and have clean water, working lights, security cameras, etc.  He would then be able to hire men-at-arms/guards.  Players would attract custom hirelings suited their Karma.  The new recruits would then garrison and start patrols to rid the area of creatures and other hostiles.  Once the area was cleared settlers would appear seeking protection.  Those allowed to stay would then help by adding exteriors walls, building their own shelters and establishing local trade (a few merchants with 50 caps selling food items, a few chems, wasteland clothing, crappy weapons, etc).  Also the player could be given the option to add his settlement to the caravan routes from Canterbury Commons.

All of this activity would certainly draw attention to the settlement.  Supermutants, Slavers and Raiders might start attacking randomly.  Creatures might start coming back looking for an easy meal (your settlers!)  Maybe the Enclave or Tenpenny wants to incorporate you into their control.  Maybe the Outcasts demand tribute in the form of any energy weapons or power armor you might have stored.  The player would have to deal with these situations to keep things running smoothly.  They could be roleplayed out or fought out...either or...

If the player maintains order and protects the settlers things would prosper.  Caps would be added to a loot chest for the player, depending on his level and the number of settlers.  The caps could be used to upgrade the men-at-arms (better quality troops, better gear), recruit better merchants, add a clinic with a medical staff to serve the settlement, buy brahmin, etc.

Maybe add other things like allowing the player to start a ‘family’ with a spouse and adopted kids once X number of settlers arrive.  Maybe allow the player to settle/develop areas adjacent to his initial settlement, etc.

I know all of this sounds pretty dull but it would be a way to be involved in the game with something other than looting the same complexes over and over again or just stumbling through the Wasteland looking for things to shoot.

Your dream mod actually sounds quite fun. Similar to RIsk in a small way. :P

Risk? Oh dear, hope we could get better AI than Risk ;)

But really, in terms of gameplay that's nice indeed, awesome rpg elements. Everything that add multiple interactions and brings effective outcomes in environment and dialogues is fun and worth to play.

The spouse relationship (above the other dialogues) should be handled with a decent amount of options and totally voiced. I can't stand mute dialogues or no lip sync, that's a major deal breaker.

For me, I can say I do my own dream mods since they are completely based on my character, from clothes to dialogues, from companions to quests, so that's the definition for me of "dream" mod. But generally speaking, something I would really like is a Bodyslide as the one for Skyrim. That's something that could spare me some time since my character's body mesh is a complex hybrid and it's not very fast and easy to create suitable clothes.

Concerning Vegas alone, I hated that game. NV assassinated the post-apocalyptic atmosphere in every possible way, it took me 1 year and one half to regain from the shock and touch once again the game box. In time I've changed from "big hater" to "indulgent" because I like the NCR. Until my character took control and decided to fall in love with Gen. Oliver.

From that day on I have started to create lot of personalized mods for Vegas too and played again with a different approach. Now I like NV (only heavily modified) and the Dream mod would be of course some deep relationship with the General. I achieved something nice through dialogues with Shu, computer mails and the final dialogue, but it's so little. I didn't tried to meet him before the turning point because it doesn't feel right, the dialogues limitations are huge. <_<

This is pretty much my very dream mod. I have to be content with some screenshots and that's it.

My dream mod is one I've tried to make myself a few times and keep washing out on, the New Vegas Orphanage. Children in New Vegas are poorly integrated into the game, a home for the ones without families would help them fit in better. Also, it'd be tied to Sexout Pregnancy, for something to do with the little inconveniences if you use pregnancy for realism but don't want to keep the end results. It'd incorporate a sexual health center (STD treatments, fertility and contraception options, abortion services, etc.) and a school for the kids to grow up into useful companions.

Mine is to finally have a shemale body replacer (variations would be nice) done that goes with type 3 textures (preferably BOG textures). And not the poorly executed one from Nexus. Transgender. I know there was one up here, but the project got abandoned. Shame shame...

That would be a mod I would like to see completed

There is another one that I've always wanted to see happen as I do not have the skill to do myself and assuming that it's nearly impossible to do in the games. I'm not a programmer nor a scripter so I'm going off on my own judgement

I would create a function that allowed me to hotkey between characters. Similar if not the same as switching between characters like in FFX-2

Example: Roaming the wasteland as my main character and all of a sudden I'm in the middle of a ambush. I would toggle via hotkey to one of my companions using scripts + HUD function to select the character I would want to choose while in or out of combat. And the moment I change, the last character I was active on, turned into companion mode. I'd use a similar HUD function like Jazziparis's companion HUD mod and use the up and down arrow key to select which one I want to change to.

I think that would be neat. But I don't know if that would even be possible.
