XCom 2 and WOTC Prostitution Mod

This is NOT my mod, Mirann created these two versions of the Prostitution mod. It appears Mirann has not been on for more than two years, but if at any time Mirann returns and wants me to remove this mod, or if Mirann posts the mod, I will remove this version ASAP.

There are two versions here, MODMODMOD is for plain Xcom 2, Without WOTC

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY USE THE UPDATED WOTC VERSION OF THIS MOD BY Duck666, INSTEAD OF THE OLDER VERSION HERE For a WOTC install!!!

This is just NotBob's mod with some stuff removed (specifically, the overwritten character template generator is what was breaking the game). Should hopefully work. I also stripped out the deathproof ability, added some simple statistics display and pregnancy functionality. There's a lot more that can be done, though I'm not familiar with the game API.
Edit: Forgot the file...

The Second version Prostitution 1.4.1 is for WOTC

Posted November 4, 2017 (edited)
Renamed the prostitution mod and got it working with WotC.
Added a few extra settings to increase rewards with rank, but nothing really new beyond that.
1.4.1:
- Some bad indices completely messed up the stats screen (but only the visualization of it). Fixed
1.4:
- Localized the rest (I think)
1.3:
- Localizations for the ui buttons
- Lover interaction now only available if bondmade is healing or ready
- Added will restoration project after prostitution/infiltration (without it, will lost during those tasks would not recover over time)
- Added debug restore button (enable in ini) to fix any soldier stuck in permanent "shaken" state due to the above
- Updating mod could cause stats to no longer save properly for any soldier who had already done and of the mod tasks. Should be fixed.
- Added more localization strings
- Default override of character generator class is removed (can be put back in with XComEngine.ini. Just remove the ;s). Should fix mod conflict
1.1:
If the previous version worked in vanilla (not tested, probably doesn't), this one most definitely will not.
- Bonded soldiers can spend some time together (restores will)
- Captured soldiers are now actually captured if any of the chosen have been encountered, using the standard WotC capture system
Update (Let's just retroactively call this 1.0):
- All class names changed (old ones looked like something from a modding tutorial, so pretty high chance of weird conflicts with other mods)
- Added a couple of different outcomes to infiltration missions: One is a partial success (reduced reward and slight injury), while one is meant to lead into a captured state (right now all it does is reduce reward to 0 and hp to 1)

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable capture for this mod? Maybe something I can comment out in the XML files to prevent it from happening?

I've now played two games where my starting pool L3 Vagina soldier (whore), and then my L1 soldier in the next game, were both captured on their very first job (7 days into the game) and then never seen again for the entire rest of the game... There were never any options to rescue them.

I think it's probably because I'm using the CristopherOdd Season 9 modpack, which changes the whole way that covert ops/infiltration/rescues work, and I suspect that Prostitution is relying on a vanilla rescue system that never gets invoked. I just want it off so I can have fun without worrying that my soldiers are just gonna get deleted from the game with no recourse.

There's a fairly easy way or several ways really to do that. Everything is controlled by the XComProstitution.ini in this mods Config folder. You can either lower the EscapeDifficultyPerPartner or increase the BreedingSuccessBase and BreedingEscapeBase values really high so the capture shouldn't come up at all.

However a word of warning: Had some massive issues with this mod. It seems that some of it's traits can be applied randomly after missions. Which caused 100% crashes to desktop after said mission whenever I tried to "View Soldiers" or got near any menu with that specific soldier showing up. Had to remove the entire mod mid-tactical and then it worked again. So something's borked.

Thanks! I've made the changes to all the different partner types, zeroing them out. I also set AllFemale to 0, since I play with a mixed character pool.

And yeah, the these traits are getting randomly selected sometimes from the pool of negative traits. I've had soldiers become shaken and end up rolling prostitution traits instead of something actually harmful... But it doesn't result in any kind of crash for me, so I quite like it when that happens. Probably something to do with all the other mods in the collection I'm using.

One more quick question. Do you know how I can make these traits more common overall? In my current game I have 58 troops but only 3 prostitutes and 1 sex enthralled. I'd really like it to be more than that... Not all of them, but maybe 1/3 of my pool?

Hmm lucky you then heh. For me it 100% resulted in a crash when the game gave Sex Enthralled 3 to a soldier who had Sex Enthralled 5 for example. Still kinda odd.

And yeah you can. In the same config file you can increase the XP for each partner or increase the bonuses for each tier of VaginaQuality resulting in more partners. You can then also change the xp per pregnancy and so on to unlock those traits quicker since from looking at the source files they are mostly based around having enough SEXP to be unlocked.

Nono, I was asking if there was a way to have more of my troops roll Prostitution traits when they're first recruited or rescued. Hopefully so that about 1/3 of my (female) troops will have them, not only 3 in a force of 50+ troops.

I imagine it would be in a different config altogether, if it exists?... The chance of gaining a random trait + the chance that said trait is chosen from the Prostitution Mod.

Don't think you can just get them right when recruiting, at least not with this mod alone. There may be something on the workshop that you could plug the traits into that would do it. But if need be you can just use console commands to give your troops some of the traits. Command itself would be

GiveTraitToUnit MotherManyAliens Jane Helldiver

EDIT: Actually maybe you could hijack something like this? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1336467124

Is there a way to make it possible that two female lovers can result in a pregnancy or two? As if they're futanari? I play all-female soldiers, and I'd like to include that mechanic if possible.

I desperately need help. I followed all instructions in installation, but this does NOT show up at all in the Alt Mod launcher. (ver 1.6) How do I get this to appear?

you may of put it in the wrong mod folder.  there is one under xcomgame.  and Wotc something/   Sorry do not have game installed to check file paths.  just go to main file where executables are, and look for a folder with Wotc in the name open that, and then open a folder called, something like xcom2game, inside that is a mod folder deeper in.  In other words look for a mod folder, other than the one you used.

Sorry if that is not clear.  but there are mod folders for xcom2 and wotc. older mods usually go in the xcom2, and new wotc only mods go in the second, trial and error works lol

Nevermind, I found the problem! The dumb AML is extracting mods from an old folder from years ago for some reason, eventhough I moved everything to another drive. I do have one question though; where did my character go? After I clicked Prostitution, their status vanishes and they cannot be deployed for anything. Mod doesn't tell me how long they will be 'gone' for. They are now essentially soft locked.

You sent them on a mission, they will not be back for some time, just like when a mission pops up and you send a team, they are not available until the mission is complete.

Alright, but why isn't there a day counter? Would be great if i could see how long they're gone.
