I'm trying to get Summer Skyrim you load after CCOR.

Summer Skyrim is just an esp. CCOR has bsa(s)

if you have the meta data set up in loot, click on sort plugin on LOOT.... to sort them... so what is the problem? did MO2 plugin doesnt sort as it shown on LOOT?

As far as I know you can't change the load order between light and regular plugins, just like you can't mix masters with other plugin types. Its unfortunate that MO2 shows the plugin order like that. LOOT is wrong as well in the sense that it too should sort light plugins into their own group, like masters. The mod index column is the key here, not the visual order of the plugins in the list.

I thought it might be something to do with the light plug-ins.

My problem is that CACO is overwriting files from Summer Skyrim (i.e. changing them back to having snow). I'll have to solve the problem in XEdit.

Thanks.

That's true for files with ESL as extension, not ESP ones with the ESL flag enabled. FIles with ESL extension have both Master and Light flags (ESM+ESL) so they must load at the top of your loadorder, these are also in bold letters in MO2. Both relevant plugins are ESP extension with the ESL flag enabled, these files can be sorted in your loadorder as any other plugin.

Unless there is a master dependency forcing CCOR (tittle says CACO but that's another mod?) to load after that Summer mod, I'd say this is a LOOT rule forcing CCOR to load after Summer Skyrim or another mod that interacts with said mod. The only way MO2 enforces a particular loadorder is a) loading ESM and ESL files before ESP ones and b) loading master dependencies (aka load mod_a.esp before mod_b.esp if mod_a.esp is set as a master in mod_b.esp).

Thanks. I've changed it to the correct acronym.

Nothing to do with this but I got a load order text from MO2 and happened to notice that Summer Skyrim was below CCOR. In MO2 and XEdit CCOR is below Summer Skyrim. 🤷‍♀️
